The Shrimp and Jalapeno Cheddar Grits has got to be my top best 5 things I've ever eaten. The flavors are so bright and flavorful. Just the right amount of spice! Totally recommend! Service was spectacular. The next time I'm in Washington DC, I'll definitely be coming back for more.

Love this place! Elegant interior that’s a bit off-beat and beautifully lit. Professional and efficient service that was also warm and friendly. And great food! Loved the seafood gumbo and sweet potato turnover. We thought the fried catfish was relatively tasteless, although perfectly prepared, but the blue cheese coleslaw that came with it was a revelation. Can’t wait to get back!

Decided to stop by for lunch and we were not disappointed. Our service was attentive and made great recommendations. She new the menu and everything was delicious. You must try the chargrilled oysters.

Really good food.  The duck was the best I ever had.  The seafood gumbo was delicious, as were the fries oysters.  Ambiance was nice, service was good.  We opted for after dinner drinks in lieu of desserts.  The port was excellent and my companion had a good cognac.  Perfect dinner and drinks before heading for our night out.

I am not a seafood guy and I was here on a client dinner not a place I'd normally opt for so I my review is probably not as on point for anyone who digs seafood. For a non seafood person there were really almost no options other than 3 steak options. I had the strip which had was good but a smaller option would be nice to have on the menu and maybe just one or two other things to work with. The others in my party enjoyed their food for the most part and the service was not bad.
