Story

Our Washington DC campground is the perfect home base for your Washington DC vacation. We are located 15 miles from DC and only 17 miles to Annapolis.

Families enjoy our two playgrounds, swimming pools, mini golf, volley ball, horseshoes, shuffleboard, Basketball, giant board games, store, nature trail and "the largest campground dog park on the east coast". Yes, we are a very pet friendly campground!

We lived at Adventure Bound for 9 months with 3 kids and 2 dogs. The management team is awesome and the facilities are newly renovated and kept very clean. We never had any theft problems or even noise complaints. During the major holidays they had activities for the children ( pancakes, painting, parades, costume contests, pumpkin carving contests, dance/karaoke). They also have a sparkling clean pool with a lifeguard on duty during the Summer months. The staff is very attentive and professional. We loved our stay. Sometimes the staff even chopped wood for us and left it by our site! They also have a military discount!! Very military friendly

Good place for full-timers...but we're not.
We've gone here for years and loved it. But they stopped doing activities for the kids on weekends. No camp store. No kiddy pool anymore. Just a different feel from when this was Duncan's.
On the plus side, they have a nice pool, the employees are very nice, large dog park, new and improved laundry area and they blow up a bouncy house and slide for a couple hours each day.

An amazing place to be away from the city but not too deep in nature. Staff is wonderful amenities are pleasing swing by and visit

Leave it a DC RV Park, making money ripping people off.... Overcharging for propane $3.99 per gallon + Gallons pumped = 9.7 gallons...Tank only hold 8 gallons. Be prepared to be ripped off .

Place is Great. Not many choices in the area, and the staff works like they have competition across the street. Great place with Great management. Dirt bikes are annoying, but I cant really blame the camp ground for that. Bathrooms are newly remodeled and very nice. And the playground is great for the kids. They also have huge blow up water slide and bounce house they put up whenever the weather is nice. A great spot for an extended stay, to explore some American History.
