ALL of these stars are for the food, and food ONLY. From the minute we sat down to the moment we left my husband and I did not feel welcomed at all. Both people working tonight were cold, rude, and disrespectful. The food was DELICIOUS! We will definitely be ordering from here again, TO GO. As far as going back and dining in, never again. Such a shame a large establishment like this with amazing food is dead on a Saturday night, probably due to poor service.

We love the Alley. Even when it's busy there's great service. We have been coming here a few years and there are a few of the bartenders who have been there since before we started coming. They know our names and our drinks. The food is great. They have excellent burgers and the specials are pretty good, there's always something new and interesting to try out. Fish fry is all you can eat and well priced and the clam chowder is pretty tasty. Plus, they have a good jukebox and there's always something good on tv as well. Also, there's a patio for the warmer weather days with planter boxes, music outside, and umbrellas. A solid spot in Palatine with consistent service, good food, and good vibes. Definitely swing by!

Everything is great, but the music is way too loud you couldn't have a conversation. If the music was a little quieter I would give the place 5 stars.

The food is excellent.  The decor is what you would expect.  Prices were more than fair.  They pour a good drink as well.  Worth a visit to check out.
