Simply outstanding! Last night we celebrated our anniversary at Alligator Soul. Once we entered the restaurant the hostess said: "Happy Anniversary!" Our table had a box with a small pastry in it, but even better, the box had a logo of two alligators on it  complete with our names and years married (31). It should come as no surprise that the rest of the night was 5 Star as well. I had the Mushroom Salad (never had it before; it was awesome!) and Sea Bass (excellent!). My bride had the Alligator Soul Salad and lamb chops (better than outstanding!). Mathew, our table server was knowledgeable, attentive and a delight to share our evening with. A teammate from Bavaria (failed to catch his name) was also helpful plus he re-kindled my Bavarian dialect. The drinks are great; the atmosphere romantic. We tell everyone about this wonderful restaurant. Try it!

Tell them Patrick sent you, well that's who recommended underground dining when he brought up our bags.  Patrick, you were right! Very enjoyable. Seems we got lucky without reservations, highly recommend them. Our server, a student at the college, was delightful and attentive. The artisan bread with lemon butter and herbs was my favorite. The lamb chops on point, not over cooked, trimmed with just enough fat to provide moisture and flavor. And you must "save room", as my mother instructed me since an early age, for the banana beignets. Fried to perfection with gooey caramel nuttiness atop vanilla ice cream below makes it one of their signature dishes,  not soon to be forgotten.

This place...wow. Walk down the stairs and enter a classier world. The place has an awesome ambiance between the decor, music, and knowledgeable staff. From the sample board to dessert everything was prepared and presented with great attention to detail and extremely delicious. I wish I could have eaten more of the amazing food but I was completely full upon leaving. If you are in savannah, go here!

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER! 
We had dinner here last night and my wife ordered the filet cooked medium well. After it came to the table bright red in the middle she requested that it be cooked longer. After waiting another 10 minutes or so her steak was returned to the table and it did not appear to have been touched! Same bright red on the inside. Not wanting to raise a stink she told the manager it was fine when he inquired. After watching her pick at her undercooked steak for the next 15 minutes I informed the server that I expected the steak to be removed from the bill. He said he would tell the manager. The manager came over and informed us that he was unable to remove the steak from our bill but he comped is an appetizer!  UNBELIEVABLE!! My wife paid $37 for a steak that was undercooked and a manager refused to remove it from the bill.
NEVER DINE HERE! WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!

Poor service on hostess' behalf. They were not able to seat my wife and I despite having made reservations and there being at least 5 tables available. Given some excuse about tables being previously reserved, by some phantom elite I guess. After our reservation time, a table was offered to another couple who arrived after us with the same reservation time. Eventually we were seated at a table less than arms length from another couple. Can not say if the food was any good because we decided to get up and leave having been thoroughly disappointed by such blatant disregard of our time and dining experience. Please consider renaming to Alligator Hole.

Went to Green Truck instead and had a wonderful meal and experience with courteous staff as well.
