A group of friends and I had brunch here during our first morning in Atlanta. There's not much that needs to be said other than the fact that our visit was the best way to start our vacation. We were quickly seated and had friendly, amazing server. The environment had a very artsy feel to it (almost like a brunch spot fused with an antiques shop, but there were no antique items). Our server made us feel welcomed and even made suggestions for us during our Atlanta visit. The food was the best of the best. I ordered the Skinny Chicken with a pancake on the side. The entree came with grilled chicken, spinach, and egg whites. Healthy as can be and it didn't taste overly salty. The pancake was phenomenal and the best part of it all. It came with powdered sugar and was basically a homemade pancake. I will definitely be visiting this place again in the future and strongly suggest a visit for their brunch!

This local restaurant it’s a little bit unique. It’s decoration is a little bit eclectic with some nice points and some not so nice ones. The ambient is lousy (loud rock music) but I didn’t feel overwhelmed. Their staff is friendly and courteous. And now with the good stuff. Their food selection is wide and the few things that I’ve tried they were delicious. The service was really quick all the way through, from sitting on the table to get our order served. I’ll definitely come back!! Their thrift store in the back is a normal tiny shop that sell few “hippie” items.

We had a table of 7. The place was packed and we were seated in an hour. Our waitress was great and the majority of our table enjoyed the food, accept for two people that had comfy chicken and biscuits. The gravy was very thick on the comfy chicken and biscuits. I had the Salmon patty with Fried green tomatoes that was great. My son and a friend had the pancakes. The pancakes are good and really huge. My friend had a stuffed omelette that was great. Another friend enjoying the shrimp and grits. The food was hot and the restaurant was clean. The waitress was timely and polite.

Love Homegrown. Great food. It's not fancy so if you want something more refined, this is not the place. Bagel Sammy (bagel, goat cheese, tomatoes & bacon) & pancakes are a personal fave. Parking can be a pain (welcome to Atlanta) but usually a couple streets nearby have an open spot. It can be pretty busy - wait times are no joke, but if you happen to be an early riser, you're in luck. 9-10AM is a great time to go.

Awesome! My first time at Home Grown and loved it! We waited about 40 mins on a Sunday late morning, and it sure was worth it! The staff is great, the atmosphere very comfy and homey, and the food was down home (a little salty for me, but very authentic southern cuisine). They also display and sell crafts from local artists - very cool! Oh, and the older gent playing relaxing music on the electric keyboard was a nice touch! I'll definitely be back!
