We are dedicated to serving authentic Southern Dishes, prepared in the same manner in which they have been prepared for generations-with a few special touches belonging only to us.

Story

Since opening in 1991 the Blue Willow Inn Restaurant has quickly become one of the finest examples of authentic Southern cooking in the US. Gracious Southern Hospitality is always the standard for all at the Blue Willow Inn.

Guests choose from an array of four to five meats, nine to ten vegetables prepared Southern style, soup, chicken and dumplings, full salad bar and home made biscuits, muffins and cornbread. Last, but not least, is a delicious spread of home made pies, cobblers, puddings and old fashion cakes.

We are closed on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. Other holidays are dependent on our normal business hours. Reservations are highly recommended for all holidays.

This was our 1st visit and will not be our last.  After wanting to dine at the Blue Willow for many years, we finally made reservations. Was a bit hesitant going Valentine's Day lunch buffet, but the staff had everything under control. People were seated on time.  All the servers made sure fresh plates were dropped off for buffet and beverages were refilled.  We did not notice any table crowding, as mentioned by another reviewer. All the trays were refilled with food; food was hot.  Especially enjoyed the fried green tomatoes. They even made pink heart-shaped biscuits. All the desserts were tasty.  As to dress code, we saw everything from business dress to camo (that's sad).  NOTE:  To all the negative reviewers, give them another chance. Everyone has an off day now and then.

I haven't been to Blue Willow in 20 years, so I really didn't have high expectations for the food and service, but was I mistaken! It was everything and more! The fried chicken..watch out!  The lima beans...fresh! The mac and cheese...just like grandma's! The ribs....tender ad succulent! The biscuits....oh so buttery! I tried a couple other items, but you need to go check it out yourself! Let me know what you think...

If you have not tried the Blue Willow... What are you waiting for? Everyone in the Atlanta metro area should go there at least once.  If you liked Mary Mac's (when Mary was there), you are going to love the Blue Willow.  All your Southern comfort foods are there on the buffet.

Very nice, clean, and a quiet place. The atmosphere is quiet and relaxing, not no loud music playing over your head,  The people are very friend, the food was delicious and it taste home cooked. I would differently recommend it to my friends.

Food is great! Did I say great? Yup. If you like southern/soul food it's worth the drive. Moment of honesty - the restaurant looks to be huge antebellum house with most of the kitchen staff being minorities so it can definitely be reminiscent of a certain period in American history. Just thought I'd put that out there as it was the first thing I noticed. However, all the staff seemed to be pleasant. I've been a few times over the past few years and the quality of food and the taste have always been consistent. You can do a to-go order from the buffet. While all the food and dessert are in the same area, you have to tell them you want dessert so that they can charge you appropriately. I didn't see that mentioned anywhere when I added dessert to my tray. It was a little awkward at checkout when the young man said he had to inspect my to-go tray and then added the additional fee. Perhaps they should post that somewhere or if it is posted make it a bit more visible. While I know he didn't mean any harm, it gave off a vibe that I was trying to "get over" on the cashier when I simply didn't know that was a policy. All in all, it's really about the food, which is pretty damn great.
