This may be most little girls dream come true. We went just after Christmas so I am not sure if was more or less crowded than normal. We started we just walking around and I had made appointments for the doll hair do and the tea in the Cafe. The store is two floors with a lot to see. In the Wellie Wishers area there is play house and some wooden trees with activities so we stayed there to wait for our hair appointment. My girls had cut their dolls hair but the lovely women did the best they could to with the hair and gave us tips while they worked on the hair. My girls were super happy with the outcome. We walked around the customized doll and clothing station a while (I think we will be back for that in the future). Than downstairs to the cafe. You can have your doll sit with you and booster type seat and they bring the dolls a place mat and plate. The food was OK but I was not expecting much. If I go again I might try for lunch but price was on point for Manhattan and nice and easy to eat in the store. Our waitress was wonderful and spent time talking with the girls who were so excited for their first time. There was a parking lot just a few doors down on the opposite side. It was such a just stepped outside to the Rockefeller tree.

Great store. So much to look at and buy. Kids will have a ball there. Services offered for the dolls and kids are very cool too. Dolls ear piercing was a disappointment because they take the doll away and come back 20 seconds later with them pierced. You don’t get to watch. Cafe was a great experience for my daughter. The doll gets a special chair and a plate. Napkins are wrapped in hair ties that you can keep. Just be prepared to shell out lots of money. $25 to over $30 for a doll outfit. $20 for kids meal. Comes with a drink and 3 pieces of raw vegetables on the side. Would I go back? Sure because my daughters face was worth it. Very pricey though.

We visited the day after Christmas and most of the dolls were sold out. This was our first time to an AG store and we had no idea what to expect. Though the lines moved quickly and we scored some great prices on the accessories, the incredibly limited selection of dolls was disappointing. I imagine this happens every year so I expect a company as big as AG to be better able to predict their needs.

After visiting the new American girl location, I was a little disappointed with the space of it. Especially since knowing how much larger their old location was. But overall, it was great because it helped make my little sister’s birthday celebration special. She’s loves everything American girl. You have helped made her day grand!

I went today to the new location 75 and Rockefeller plaza to buy my daughter Janelis birthday gift The truly me #59 doll. This has become a tradition for the past three years.we shop a lot during the year that we became a Gold Member.I like how all the employees are very welcoming and very helpful to all the parents and the children. I would like to thank the salesperson name Asia for her very good customer service she was very sweet and very attentive she said hello at the beginning and said enjoy your gift when we left and she answered all our questions and inquiries. The new location was fun but I like the old location better.
