Best food I ever tasted in Richmond. They have been around for a while now and it’s a shame they don’t branch out into other cities. I would love to be able to have this restaurant anywhere I go because nobody else makes food like they do. I have yet to find a better steak and cheese or pizza. Everything they make is perfect.

Placed an order online tonight. Yes they are busy but there was no communication of the status of the order once it was confirmed by the restaurant. I called to check the status after being over an hour since I placed the order. I was told they are packing it up now but it would be about 45 more minutes. I cancelled the order and requested a refund. I didn’t want to eat cold food (a burger, a sub, and an appetizer). Some form of communication would have been nice. I would think when the order was confirmed they may have called and let us know it would be 2 hours before we got our food. Very disappointed and would not recommend delivery.

Delicious! They are also very good about making a pizza for the special needs of a child with allergies. The gift card is one of the best deals I've ever seen -- $80 for a $100 card! That is an amazing 20% off instantly.

We have been going to this Apollo's for 10+ years. This order did not turn out as well as past orders. It has been a while since our last order, so this review is specific to our most recent order. We ordered for 3 kids (aged 3, 5, and 12) and my wife & I. We ordered several turkey subs (different variations of ingredients), jalapeno poppers, a Philly cheese-steak sub and mild wings. We ordered through the the website "eatstreet" because we had a $7 off discount code. Most of the order was right. I think the Philly had mayo on it (we asked for it with no mayo) and one of the turkey sandwiches at some Italian dressing (we asked that none of the sandwiches have Italian - the kids don't like it). The wings were rather surprising - they looked like a dry rub, but I think they were just dried out. They did not come with ranch or blue cheese (there was no option to make a request on the order site as there is for other restaurants), we probably could have asked for a side. The marinara that came with the jalapeno poppers was great, as was the Philly cheese-steak, despite the mayo. Even though we did not have a great experience with all of the elements of our order, we likely will order again.
