For over 15 years, we’ve been changing the way Richmond thinks about burgers. We’re foodies and we do it right! Great atmosphere and friendly staff. This is my favorite location to go as a family. There is a lot more space. Burgers and fries were good. Shakes were tasty and thick. Can't really ask for more. I want to give 5 stars but there were a couple things that held me back: Hardly any BBQ sauce on my burger and tables need to be cleaned better. Nothing that can't be fixed easily so I'll definitely be back.

We didn't know what to expect from Carytown Burgers and Fries but overall had a satisfying experience. The menu had plenty of options without being overwhelming. We ordered the Mushroom Swiss burger, the vegan burger, and cheese fries. I was very satisfied with the mushroom swiss burger. The onions were fresh and crisp and the patty was moist and had plenty of body. We were less impressed with the vegan burger, unfortunately. It was too mushy and the large grains and pieces of corn gave it a poor texture. The toasted bread was good, though. The cheese fries were a very generous helping, and while the cheese sauce was better than most cheese sauces, I wasn't the biggest fan. Our table was a little sticky and there were several dirty tables. The staff were polite and helpful. Overall, we had a satisfying​ experience and will definitely give it another shot.

Don't know what happened to this place. Used to be great when it first opened, if a little overpriced. However the food and service have been steadily declining in quality -- maybe too many new hires off Craigslist, from all the posts I've been seeing. Lo and behold today we got a delivery with pink chicken... none of the rest of the order was edible, even the bacon wasn't good, ended up throwing it all out. However the most horrifying part of this would have to be the manager's blasé attitude over a potential salmonella scare when we tried to notify him. Overall pretty disgusted and will never be coming back. Maybe you should focus more on your staff and their training instead of competing over 'best in town' titles.

Just okay. Two chicken sandwiches, two drinks, and fries to share was 29$. I can get the same in a full service restaurant. My wife's bun was dry and the chicken sandwiches were very small in size. Neither of us eat red meat. Atmosphere was less than impressive but okay. It was just an okay experience. It won't be a reason to leave the house. Only gave 3 stars because food was hot and fries were good. We may or may not be back.

I love it because you get great service. You can have a turkey or beef burger. I don't eat beef so that's a plus for me. They have really good appetizers too. I can't forget the delicious desserts.
