Read the bad reviews but went to Arches Electronics anyway. It was that or shoot photos in the national parks with my phone.  Jerry couldn't have been nicer. Agreed to recharge a battery for me. I offered $15 and he accepted.  Came back with my Nikon a couple hours later. Another clerk was there. He had expected me and tested the battery in my camera to make sure it was fully charged.

This is a long time camera store that pre-dates the iPhone world we live in today. If you are expecting an Amazon price, Best Buy experience you won't find it here. If you want to talk DSLR or old school manual focus cameras then visit here. Owner is extremely knowledgeable and interested in photography if you have  a discussion with him.  There high mark-up because it is in a remote, yet highly visited part of Utah known for it's National Parks. Every store & hotel in Moab has a high markup. This store is a small, funky little space that seems more like an alleyway between to buildings that had a roof and two walls added to make it a store.

I needed a 12V powered cradle for my Garmin to put in my UTV. This was the only place in Moab that had it. Very nice guy helped me. My only complain would be the price. Suggested retail pricing is a bit of an insult in today's world. Because you are the only game in town on something doesn't justify gouging. Such is life...

If I could leave this place negative stars I would. I purchased a Bower battery charger here last night because I thought I had forgotten my own.  When I found mine the next morning the store would not let me return it. I had the receipt and the box wasn't even opened. This is by FAR the WORST camera store I've ever experienced. DO NOT buy anything from here if you can help it.

I am so extremly angry. I went there to buy a charger for my camera, he tried to sell me one for $65 (at amazon they are about $15). Instead I asked him for a cable, as I saw that it would fit into my camera. I paid $21 and it doesnt work at all. Now I'm not sure if that means the cable is not ok or if he sold me the cable knowing that it wouldnt charge my camera. Either way I feel like he stole my money and ruined my vacation. Do not go there. He seemed so nice but he really is not.
