I was fortunate to have the opportunity to work with Asst. Mgr. Terrance Holden on the purchase of my new special order timepiece.  Every phone call was answered or returned on a timely basis and Michelle-Office Mgr. filled in numerous times with my many questions.  I admit that I can be a very "challenging" customer with nearly OCD attention to detail and requests.  EVERY single one of my needs and questions were met and answered in a timely fashion.  I had already visited TWO other authorized dealers in Columbus to help me in my decision making process, and I knew from my first phone call with Terrance that Ashcroft & Oak was the place for me!  As most of us realize, it is the PEOPLE who make the businesses what they really are.  (I am going back in a couple weeks to buy another watch from Terrance.  I love watches, but must have a GREAT retailer and I have finally found the one I want to give my business to.)

They don't even deserve one star. This is a horribly run company. No "customer first" mentality. It is all about making money and they don't care at all about the quality of their service. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone and would advise everyone to stay clear of them. There are a lot of good jewelers out there, but this is not one of them. I have never written a bad review on Google before, but felt this one was warranted. My daughter and son in law had a horrible experience with a ring they purchased there. I have been married 31 years and our jeweler fixed both my ring and my husbands ring for years with no charges and always took good care of us. It's too bad Ashcroft and Jewelers aren't like them.

I wish I had read these reviews in 2014 before I purchased a ring from them.  I had my original solitaire diamond reset into one of their engagement rings.  For 2 years I loved the ring.  Then 2 small diamond chip accents fell out.  Their jeweler informed me that the prongs for those were a silver/white gold mix and therefore too soft and more stones would continue to fall out & be lost.  When I made my purchase I was lead to believe that the ring was white gold.  No mention of any silver.  Now they want $800-1000 to fix it right.  I'm sending a complaint letter to headquarters.  I consider this fraud.  Oh, and get this.  They won't except the ring on a trade to get a solid white gold setting as they only except trades of solid gold!
