This place is truly one of the best in New York. Everything from the views to the service to the food is hard to beat. If you're looking for a dinner that has views of central park and Columbus circle, the best service in NYC and food that you'll never forget Asiate is your place. I loved every second of coming here. The staff was amazing and very sweet. They wait on you for anything you may want. The food was beautiful, more of art then anything. I highly recommend this place.

I saw many good reviews about this place from other travel bloggers. My expectations were very high. Once I arrived it was empty because was early. I asked to seat in the window and they said all of them were reserved. I asked if anyone leaves if they could move us. All the time I stayed there no one arrived. 2 girls came and they said they didn't have reservation and they gave them the window seats. It was very disappointing. Also the food wasn't that good. Staff very friendly and great view. Just the girl in the reception wasn't friendly.

Absolutely not the quality waiting for a restaurant of this level! Service and food without taste. Breakfast expensive and boring. 95$ for the 3 courses menu is totally abusive for dinner. “Lentil du Puy Hummus” is crushed leguminous without taste. We still searching the truffle taste in the pasta plate (too baked and swimming in butter), the cod was rubbery and the dessert just common. The only positive point in accord with the restaurant description on the website is the view: stunning.

The lady at the reception ruined my anniversary. Our reservation was at 12:45 and we arrived 7 mins early. The lady made us wait in the hotel lobby till 12:45 even though they had several empty tables. When we were seated, she gave us weired booth seats with no views,. I asked for window seats and the lady said it was fully booked even though there were several empty seats. I was hesitant to sit and she asked me to come another day and sounded as if she wanted us to leave. Very offensive and horrible service!
