I recently purchased a new vehicle from Auto Star of Sylva and was very pleased with what I got.  It had everything I wanted for extras.  The salesperson Shane King was awesome and did a great job for me.  I would highly recommend them to anyone who is looking for a new vehicle.  The only reason I didn't give them a 5 star is because the payments are a little higher than I wanted but that is not the fault of them but the finance company.  Great experience all around and will definitely go back when we get a new car for my daughter.

Where’s The Guaranteed To Get You Finance Regardless of Your Credit Situation?
It’s a nightmare over and over. I’m disabled and on a limited income and yes I have to admit I’m struggling with my credit  but three times I’ve gone to AutoStar USA in Sylva, NC three times in since October of 2016 with a particular vehicle in mind found on their website to be told that particular vehicle was to old and had to many miles on it for their banks to finance but they could put be into a new model if I like the car. On January 17th 2017 I walked in confident with $1500. 00 down and a trade-in I could get the vehicle I looked at on line and sure enough I was told that particular vehicle was to old and had to many miles on it for their banks to finance but they could put be into a new model if I like the car. I took the car for a drive and I liked it. I asked if they would be able to get the payments with in my budget. Even after having a congratulations and a hand shake you have been approved. I’ve been done wrong, I would not recommend going to any AutoStar USA car lot in Western North Carolina and buyer beware of misleading, posted vehicles to old or to many miles on the vehicle posted on the their website to get you to stop by. Their goal seems to put you in a newer model vehicle and don’t forget they do a hard credit check regardless of your credit and it drops your score. Now I have to wait at least three months for my credit to go back up. One last thing, I purposely left out the names of the sales reps because it’s hard to believe they can make a living this way, but the one name I did mention needs some training on communication and loan procedures.

We stopped in for a quick look around earlier this week. The lot was laid out well, and the staff was very kind. That being said, I do feel as if the young lady's dress was a bit unprofessional. It was much too short for a car dealership. It was not evident that she was a salesperson, until I spoke with a friend who had actually purchased from her at another location. It might be a good idea to reiterate the dress code, as we were a bit uncomfortable. We do plan on stopping back by when we have more time. A RAM truck is on my husbands retirement list!

I was attempting to purchase a vehicle from them when I gave them my information I told them not to run any of it until I was certain that I wanted to buy and they assured me that that would not be a problem however I found out pretty quickly they don't know how to tell the truth they ran my credit for 15 Bank this by itself looks very very bad on your credit not to mention it's a very bad business practice to promise someone you will handle something in a certain Manner and not do so that by itself is why I will never ask anyone or recommend anyone to buy from them
