After much thought, I am no longer going to book rentals through Avis, and this particular facility is specifically why.  When I needed to book a car for a family member who needed it for emergency purposes, I first tried booking it under my own account (~10 year Avis member).  The sales associate told me I could not do that.  I then registered an Avis account under the FAMILY MEMBER's name, called back, and offered to pay that way.  Again, the agent from Stuart said no.  No apologies, no explanations as to why, not even a shred of emotion beyond the chewing sounds of whatever gum she was grinding on over the phone to indicate that she was a human being and not a robot.  She clearly didn't care if I booked through her office or not.  So from now on, I'll book through travelocity.  I got cheaper prices than with my Avis preferred, I was able to book and pay for the car for my family, and I spoke to someone who was actually......oh, what's the word.......
....NICE.

Two great experiences here.  The second one being the best.  I had brought in a one way rental car from MIA to pick up another one way car to PBI.  I had a Caddy, she had a Focus.  After pointing out the glaring difference she used her magic fingers to transfer the Caddy to the PBI one way.  Kudos to the staff at this nice "Mom & Pop" Avis rental car center.

Made a reservation in advanced. Was greeted with a customer rep that basically said you're SOL we have no cars. No call or anything. Drove 40 mins to pick up this car to help my grandmother move into a retirement home. Terrible rude service. Would not recommend. There is a great enterprise beside them that helped me a lot 2 min walk beside this terrible Avis
