Usual excellence of AVIS. Cars and pick up was good and speedy. Strangely the train from the airport dropped us at level 3 exactly opposite the AVIS counter and it was closed!! Had to go two floors down to find the open counter and then come back to level 3. Very strange and extremely inconvenient especially with so much luggage! Otherwise perfect in every other way!

We changed our pick up day over the phone, which went very smoothly. The pick up line at SFO was a bit long, but went quickly and the Rep made up for it with her very friendly and helpful manner.  Our requested vehicle wasn't available so we were immediately upgraded without hesitation.  The car was perfect, no problems and the return was easy and convenient.

Great service from Avis. No up selling or scare tactics at the desk to make you buy additional protection or vehicle features. We had the choice to upgrade on the spot at no additional cost. The whole process of picking up from SFO and returning to LAX was very slick. Will definitely use Avis again.

Reserved a premium rental, however the Ford  Taurus was not there so I was upgraded to the Mercedes Benz E350 sedan at no charge. Pick up and drop off was extremely fast and easy. Will definitely be a return customer.

If you're not a rewards member and using the mobile app, you're doing it wrong. To be able to check in ahead of time, walk directly to the rental, keys in the car, drive to gate and the only human interaction is showing your ID at the gate, can't be understated.  The rental counter lines were 20 deep. I was out of the airport in minutes.
