We enter a large capacity van from this rental car location. One of the tires had a screw in it when we picked it up. The tire pressure light came on before we were out of the airport. The tires were bald Except for a narrow strip in the center of the tread. The tire burst while we were getting off of the freeway a couple of days after renting it. We were very thankful no one was hurt. But tire replacement was $700 out of our own pocket. When you pick up a car it should be safe and in good condition.

Our flight was delayed and they gave our jeep away. They did offer us a more expensive car that was also reserved by someone else so they we're going to give another reserved car away again. I wouldn't trust them this is a horrible service. Book with someone else. So on top of having to get in late from our flight we had to wait somewhere else to get a new car. This company should really not be an airport service. STAY AWAY FROM THEM!

Worst customer service ever. I accidentally left my wallet in one of their vehicles. I was told someone would call me about my wallet within 24 to 48 hours. Its been 18 days and no one has contacted me. Every customer service representative I speak to on live chat or on the phone says they will pass my information on to the correct person immediately. Nothing happens. I've never been so frustrated.

wow. will try my best not to rent from here  ever. Reserved a rental (pt cruiser or similar), arrived at rental location at San Fran airport and was given a caravan twice the size.  asked for a smaller car and was told it was an extra 30 bucks (i repeat, for a smaller car). The line was super slow about another 35 to 40 min wait just to get to the counter. The van was dirty (had obvious sticky stuff near the handle. Told the lady where i was headed and she sold me a toll pass even though i found out my route didn't need one (unnecessary upsale). went to return my vehicle and no one was there. waited a few minutes and was about to just leave the car and this guy walks out(doesn't say a word)  with an untucked fox rental blue t shirt with baggy sweat pants with Adidas flip flops. finally speaks to wrap up his inspection. I can't make this up. most unprofessional rental company i ever experienced.

Don't give them your credit card info. unless you absolutely have to. I saw multiple unexplained charges on my CC. statement from this company. When I called the location where I rented the car to verify the charges, the rep. said he had no idea and cannot access the account. He then suggested I should call the billing department M-F during office hours.

I am usually very busy at work and don't have a set lunch break. So I called the billing Dept. in between seeing my patients, It took 15 minutes to get someone on the phone to speak to, the person then put me on hold to verify the charges, and the call was disconnected while I was on hold- she hung up the phone purposely or accidentally, who knows, the problem wasn't solved and I didn't have another half hour to spend on the phone. Then I emailed the billing department 3 days ago, haven't heard from the yet...There is over $200 extra charges from the Fox Rent A Car on my credit card and I cannot get someone to explain the charges.

I also filled up the gas tank prior to dropping off the car. The gasoline meter didn't move at all and stayed at 3/4 full. The person at the drop off station told me it was a common problem with the electric/ hybrid cars and asked me to leave the gas receipt inside the car along with the key. Then I noticed I was charged for the full tank gas too.

I should have known better not to rent a car from this place. I am a frequent car renter; the pick up time is usually is 5-10 minutes with any other company to bring you the car or you can pick it up yourself, with Fox took them 40 minutes to bring me the car.

The worst rent a car ever. Shame on you Fox Thieves!!!
