I was out of options from our company travel agency for rental cars due to "no car Tuesday" (a Bay Area saying in the rental car industry - so be aware if you're traveling to SF on a Tuesday), and ended up renting from here.  It's off-airport, which is plainly not as convenient for obvious reasons.  The shuttle driver was awesome!  She was friendly with a good sense of humor...  the facility is small, and is frequented by a lot of international travelers.  I'm all for people expanding their experiences in as many places as possible, but, learn enough of the local language to make these processes smoother, have your documentation complete, up-to-date, valid, AND READY, and be informed before you show up.

Sixt had only one staff member working a counter, so it took a pretty long time to get a car with several folks waiting (the return also took a while), and amongst all the luxury vehicles on the lot, my intermediate car was a Chevy Malibu.  Not complaining too much about the car, it was very clean, and in excellent shape, but...

As much of a beating as one takes with frequent business travel, I'll plan better to get my abuse at an on-airport agency with faster service, comparable cars, and better rates.

Booked a BMW 4 cabriolet and it was available when I arrived. The car was clean though I think the steering alignment is slightly off. But nothing much to complain as it is a rental. Dropping off the car was easy and quick. 

I left some stuffs in the back seat and was able to go back and pick them up. A happy customer.

I could not have been more pleased with my SIXT experience.  The price was absolutely unbelievable, the car was beautiful, the service and efficient pickup/drop off service was a pleasure, and the airport shuttle was perfect.    I would highly recommend to anyone.

Our rental was a Mercedes c300 convertible. A very nice car in an excellent condition.
Via a shuttle you get quickly to the clean and hip location and getting the car is quick and easy. 
The same goes for returning the vehicle.
Rented at Sixt before and will do so again in the summer.

After my flight was cancelled the day before my car wasn't available :(  They upgraded me for free and took great care of us!  I would go out of my way to rent from them in the future.  A convertible in California?! - yes please!!
