We went there early morning to rent a car and they were out of cars. Front desk lady with round glasses was very rude. Hertz need to train her to talk to customers and provide good service.

Great price for a two month rental with a nice economical car. The young man at the Hertz agency was courteous, efficient and helpful in finding the right price for me.

I picked up my rental car Wednesday morning from the el Camino San bruno location and my experience was awful. The guy seemed up tight and grumpy, but gave me a rental. My rental was an insurance claim rental because my car was in the shop getting fixed from an accident. When I signed off for the rental the guy never presented the rental damage part (that my insurance would cover the car If i got in an accident) to me that I needed to sign. I was headed to work at 2:10 and at 2:30 on highway 92 I got in a car accident. I was traveling at a safe distance of a 2 car distance space in between me and the car in front of me and noticed the guy was braking so I started to brake. A few cars in front of the guy that was in front of me was merging to the right lane and the guy in front of me slammed on his brakes which caused him to immediately stop. That caused me to stomp on my brakes and I never felt the automatic braking system(ABS) kick into gear. The ABS prevents you from sliding. That never happened to me and I slid into the car in front of me. I don't recommend hertz to anyone because they give you unreliable cars that look fine but don't perform fine.
