Super chill, welcoming, and friendly environment. The listed drinks are superb - the black bock is an absolute winner. If you’re looking for something different, the bartender can create something and personalize it to your tastes. Hands down, one of the best places to relax and enjoy crafted beverages that you haven’t seen before.

I absolutely love the Back Door. I have been there many times and especially enjoy interacting with Dakota. The first time I went in was for their soft opening, and the place was empty. He talked to me about his passion for making classic cocktails accessible to modern people and it was obvious how much thought and care he puts into his creations. His drinks are truly artful. If you're not sure what you want, just tell him a few things you like and he will make you something delicious. All the staff are always welcoming and lovely. One of my favorite bars.

Probably the best cocktail I’ve ever had. And I drink a lot. Would absolutely recommend the ‘whatever violet wants’! Super nice staff and talented bartenders. Ask for Mackenzie and Dakota!

It was my first night out with my husband and friends since becoming parents and recovering fully from surgery. Bartender checked IDs of our group and let us seat ourselves. We sat around for maybe 10 minutes looking at the menu and talking maybe too loud, but it was loud in there and the seats were far away from each other where we were sitting. Bartender then came back to us and said half of our group was exhibiting signs of being intoxicated and "over served." We were previously at Trackside and each had a couple beers over the course of 4 hours. I have a droopy eye and nerve weakness as a result of life saving surgery for thyroid cancer. Bartender said I was one of those who exhibited signs of intoxication, but wouldn't explain how or why. Hard not to feel like it's because of my appearance and because we had to talk loudly to hear each other in there. I understand the bartenders have a job to do, but it was really unfortunate and humiliating.

Omg! Not one to go all fan-boy on a bar, let alone a holdout from the 70s lounge era, but this? If you crave a unique and amazing experience in a hosted cocktail environment, this is not to be missed. I cannot describe the unique flavors fused with complimentary aromas that this lounge provides. These are not mere "cocktails" that they serve here!

They done good! They done real good. I wasn't enjoying my first drink, so they offered to make me something I might like. I ended up getting 2 more. Lounge vibe, tight knit kinda feel. Enjoyed the CD menus, smart idea.

Great drinks good service friendly service...no I didn't take it or come on the back door.
