Good equipment and staff. 24-hour access makes it easy to work out. The gym does tend to get a little over crowded during work hours. There is usually enough cardio machines. Usually have to wait weights or racks. The prices are cheap though so it makes it worth it. They try and keep the gym clean. The Bathroom has a sign up. The bathrooms could be a little bit cleaner. They have a locker for your valuables up front. overall pretty good cheap gym with just the over crowding being the main issue. Would recommend people looking for those.

DO NOT RECOMMEND. Dirty gym with shady people, and vice versa. Make sure to read the fine print of your membership or it will cost you. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.

Love this place. They're a stickler for the rules though so be prepared to pay a fine for any rules you unknowingly break.

The gym is very organized and well lit. It is always well ventilated and machines are spaced out. They have a nice amount of free weights, almost 2 of every machine, 4 squat racks, & 4 smith machines. My only complaint is they don't allow photograpgy or video.

The Manager Baymeadows/Philips Highway who is a man is arrogant. When I signed up they knew my disabled child is 13. No one bothered to tell me they will not accept her age group at the day care despite the fact that her mind is that of a 6 year old. I signed up for $37.43 per month precisely for the child care so I can exercise in peace. Had I known they would not take her I would never have signed up. This arrogant manager said it's  policy and there is nothing they can do and I stuck with my contract. I made the mistake of signing up for 2 years!!!  The rest of the employees are emotionless and unfriendly.  The equipment is old and one is always broken down for repair. 

I truly hope one of these days they will lose their monopoly of Jacksonville. Bring back Gold's gym or build more LA fitness. Give these people a run for their money. Local is not always better.

Do not sign up with Bailey's.  Any branch. You are better  off at Planet fitness or LA Fitness. No i don't  wrk for either of these other gyms. But you'll  thank me later if you heed my advise.
