I give them a five for the atmosphere and the place was nice and laid back I like the vibe. But I came in for a pizza on a week day a Tuesday afternoon. Got a regular medium cheese pizza. It was so nasty I felt like I lost money. She said it was hand made from scratch but the sauce tasted like can ravioli sauce. And the cheese was just thrown on there it didn't taste right at all. And I am from New York it didn't taste like any pizza I ever had. Besides that waitress was very friendly that was my first time there. I will be back but not for the pizza sorry.

Got a slice to go, because it was close to the house. I was helped right away and didn't have to wait for long. I was pleasantly surprised by how good the pizza was. It was inexpensive as well. More people need to know about this little hidden gem. There was a band playing as well, wish I could have stayed!

I ordered a pizza yesterday with spinach . I'm a single dad with twins so I was running on tight a schedule. Just left fourth Ward water park downtown and it was time for dinner so my twins suggested pizza . I also had two clients coming by to discuss rent in my warehouse space for the weekend so I was trying to time everything just right. Upon my order I specified what I wanted and also how long It would take. She told me 30 minutes and begin to get off the phone without even ask me my name for the order pick up . I called in right at 30 minutes before I went to the pizzeria just to be told that she messed up my order and it's not a big deal she'll give me another pizza for half price . By this time I was bus straight it so I asked to speak to a manager and she literally left me on the phone . I pulled up to the location and asked for a manager and the person that greeted me at the time was the manager but did not make that known . I finally got my pizza after 20 minutes but the service sucks the people are unprofessional and I was late for my meeting and worst case the twins dinner was late !!!!! I'm truly about support in business in my community but you guys have to do better !!!! This is not my first experience with this service ... you guys really need to tighten up !!!

MUSICIANS BEWARE!!!!!!! The owner is very disrespectful, and he does not pay. I ate there 2 weeks ago while my fiancé played the drums. The food was disgusting, drinks were not good at all... All around Bakari’s I don’t a place to spend your money. And the owner degrades the women that actually work with him. MUSICIANS DO NOT LET HIM TAKE ADVANTAGE OF YOU!!!!!!!!! I have videos, pics, and screenshots

Service sucks. I go often, but the owner is a respector of persons. If you are female or look like you have money, he will treat you like a human being. Otherwise he can be disrespectful. Waiters are worse. They check on you twice, then vanish. There is one lady there that's the only reason I still gave them 1 star. When she there, 5 star service, but I haven't seen her there in quite some time. One plus, no pork.
