The food is good. The service is the slowest I've ever experienced. Definitely don't go ready to eat. There we're only about 15 people in the restaurant including my party of 8. It took about an 1hr, if not longer for scrambled eggs dishes and pancakes. We we're told they had 3 cooks preparing food.

It was a a pretty long wait to get in (granted there was 6 of us), but it was well worth the wait. Everyone enjoyed their meal, even the vegetarian among us. I can personally vouch for the peaches and cream! The staff were really good as well. We'll be back again the next time we're in Atlanta.

I've been coming here for years and The Flying Biscuit even catered my wedding! I love that I can eat in or take out food and get great service. I came this time on Father's day after calling in an order of pasta, sausage and eggs with a side of grits for my husband - he deserves it! I walked in and my order was packed neatly with everything we wanted and needed. I love this location and the service I get every time I come. The food is delicious - especially the grits! They haven't changed. That's a great thing! I'm looking forward to coming here for years to come.

I live in the building almost connected so this is very disappointing. I have visited this breakfast spot multiple times. First, food is good. I'd give food a rating of 4 stars. Service gets 3 stars they are not the friendliest bunch since they get so busy but they get the job done satisfactory. Lastly, waiting list and waiting process is horrible. Was told 30 min, no biggie, came back and waited another 20 min. Saw 4 tops getting seated after they waited for only 20 min. Hostess and manager said they only have certain number of tables for 2. Thus, if I would have had 3+ in my party I would have got seated 35 min prior. To me, that's not fair. Give me a 4 top then. Tip for everyone, even if you have 2 people say you have 3 people to get seated quicker since they have a ton more 4 top tables. Sad experience, terrible process. Again, sucks because I live in same building pretty much.

One of my favorite local Atlanta restaurant groups. It is must eat at place if you are visiting midtown or bring out of town guest to Piedmont Park (as the park is only a few blocks away from the restaurant). I've eaten at several of the Flying Biscuit Cafes around the city, and the service at this particular one is hit or miss, but their signature food is always delicious. This restaurant is also an awesome option for any vegetarians or vegans who you may be entertaining, as many of their items come with options to substitute meat alternative, and they even have a few fully vegan items on their regular menu. Again, a must eat at place for anyone coming to or living in the city. Forget The Varsity, this is the definitive Midtown Atlanta restaurant.
