Camped there this past weekend for a Vintage Camper show. I forgot the main thing to my Vintage camper, the electrical plug. Being a 1968 camper and having a very unique plug, the guys that worked there Immediately made one up and brought it to me. Saved my weekend stay. Very clean. Very nice place and people. Beautiful resort in the mountains!

We have been there on several occasions with 4 or 5 other couples. Since we would be up and out early every morning and not get back until late, we had no contact with anyone working there. Last year, a cabin was for sale and we were interested in buying it. Found out we could bring our 2 grandchildren but could not let, even, our daughter and son in law use it. Anyone visiting during the day had to pay. Also, couldn't come there during certain months. We lost all interest. This past week we had our grandsons with us in the RV and they went in to pay to play putt putt. My husband and I were waiting on them outside. They told us the lady wanted them to give her something to keep to insure they brought the clubs back because "they cost a lot of money". My boys handed over ear buds. I told the lady what I thought of that. Two days later, friends who have out of state grandchildren were on a day trip and heard we were there. They came to introduce their grandchildren to us and stopped in the office to get our campsite. The employee said they would have to pay $5 each before she would tell them our site. That would be $30. Obviously, we didn't know they were looking for us! The place is nice enough but it is like a nursing home. If you absolutely don't want to be around anyone living and breathing, you don't want to go there.

We have been camping here for 18 years and have had nothing but great and positive experiences. A few years ago while camping here, we had some rowdy boys camping behind us and pretty much kept us up all night. We reported it to the owner the next morning and he immediately apologized and took action. He told us we should have called him that night and he would've came and taken care of it then. The office staff has always been very helpful, accommodating and very friendly and nice. The campground, campsites, bath houses, pool...........(everything) is always clean and taken care of exceptionally well. Will definitely be calling in the next few days to make our annual reservations. The best place to camp!!

Clean and well maintained. The geese were fine and didn't bother us. Everything is clean and the campsites are also clean. But be prepared for some rules and lots of them. Thought I was back in kindergarten. Pool closes at 7 and the playground closes at 830 well before the kids on vacation are ready.

BEWARE of cancellation policy. The reservation process was helpful and friendly, however, it wasn't explained nor indicated in the confirmation email, or website that you will be charged for cancelling within a week. It only shows a $6.00 fee on their website which is completely misleading. We had to cancel due to a unforeseen and costly vehicle repair which forced us to change travel plans. If we were aware of their strict cancellation policy, which was more than the $6.00 they advertise, then we would never have booked a reservation there in the first place because of course things happen. Needless to say, they made $45 on us without providing us a service and lost a potential customer that may have tried to make a future reservation but won't now because of their misleading advertising and lack of explaining their policy while making the reservation or in the email confirmation. The campground may be very nice, but beware if you have to change plans.
