It's nice, quiet and peaceful up here. That's a major plus. Get a little fishing in at the pond, too. Some downsides are he entrance/exit is very narrow, not level and can be tough to get in and out of when you're towing a camper. And then there are some permanent setups in here. At least there appeared to be at the time. Some campers look like they hadn't been moved in years. If you're alone, I say have at it but I wouldn't bring my family up here.

I have stayed here for long and short stays...this place is beautiful, quiet and relaxing, and centrally located for outdoor recreation or city/town amenities. Wonderful staff that is always willing to help, and always finding new venture to improve your stay! Highly recommend a stay here!

My husband and I stayed here at the end of June for 2 nights. New management has recently taken over so I don't think they'd had a good amount of time to fix some issues before we stayed. The main issue I feel is the entrance and exit, it's a narrower road that's awfully steep. Not super ideal for big rigs. Also there seemed to be quite a few long term residents in crappier rigs (we were in between two, one of which asked us for a ride into town which we found super odd and uncomfortable). It's tough to put an age limit on rigs acceptable to stay somewhere but it does bring the overall feel for the park down when they're very run down and drying their laundry off the back... We backed up to the pond which made for a really nice view out the back of the 5th wheel. The park is really close to the best winery we visited in Dahlonega and close to hiking and some falls. The owners were super nice and live on site. Laundry was available but we decided to pass on it just the same. Pet friendly was a plus. Overall we would stay here again if we needed to.

Really cute campground. The management is really nice, bathrooms were super clean and it's pretty centrally located.

Before coming here I did research on all of the campgrounds around this area and this by far has been the nicest place I have found. The staff is more than helpful and the campground itself is absolutely beautiful I will always come back here.
