Without our consent, they did a withdraw from out checking for our mortgage payment the day after we came in and made a cash payment. After we came to resolve the issue they said that it cannot be resolved in person but only over the phone. We sat on hold for 2 hours at the branch and got no where. If I wanted to be put on hold I would have called from home. BOA lost my business forever as well as the business of my close friends and family. Atrocious and despicable customer service with no regulars to respect. Also I have no option of viewing my mortgage statement online like in other banks. This was at the Washington street location in Portland OR.

They deserve 0 stars but since thats not an option 1 will suffice. Won't ever bank here again. I went to withdraw some cash after getting in an accident because I needed to pay part of a claim immediately but didn't have any money. I wanted to make sure I didn't need a minimum amount in my savings to avoid fees, so of course I asked a teller. They told me there was no minimum needed in my savings to avoid fees. Unfortunately that was not the case. They took $300 from me! Than when I called to see if anything could be done some very unfriendly lady said no, at this point I said if your institution isn't going to refund my money I would like to close my account. She said that wasn't a problem and would be glad to "help", the worst part was she didn't seem to care about me as a customer at all. Terrible place, I now bank with Unitus and and couldn't be happier about it!

They have permanently closed their drive through. I would give them 5* if they reopen it. The atm is a drive through on the other side, but it's setup makes it difficult to operate from a car of any girth.
