Inspired by a healthy, outdoor lifestyle, bartaco combines fresh, upscale street food with a coastal vibe in a relaxed environment. bartaco is specialty cocktails crafted with fresh-squeezed juices, beer out of a bottle, and hand-held foods delivered on metal trays.

A little bit of Malibu right in he heart of Nashville. The tacos are delicious and so are the drinks. The pork belly taco has spoken to my heart a few times now and I am grateful. Break out the wayfarers and put on your cleanest white shorts and head for bartaco! :)

Among all of the excellent choices in 12 South, this is a really fun place! Though the menu isn't overwhelmingly long like at your typical Mexican restaurant, you'll still have a hard time making your selection because everything sounds delicious. Fortunately, the portions are sized such that you can pick several items on the menu as if you were at a tapas or sushi bar. My only complaint was that I didn't like the margaritas, though maybe that's because we ordered a pitcher.

First time guest and loved this place. I came right when they opened and the staff were so friendly. They sat down at the table with me to explain the menu and how to order items. It was so personable. The food was great and ordered 2 more tacos than planned because the tacos were great-- secret avocado taco, Baja fish, and shrimp tacos. The atmosphere and music is so cool and reminds me of eating at a restaurant on the beach. I will be back for sure.

Their pork belly taco was literally one of the best things I've ever eaten and that's saying something because I eat as a hobby much to the detriment of my overall health. 2nd best was the duck taco, easily. Additionally, they actually have the finest margarita I've ever tasted, though the prices on cocktails are steep compared to the very reasonably priced tacos. 10/10 will be returning. My only complaint is that my waitress was so attractive it's haunting.

Like others have said, tacos small for the price, but man are they tasty. Tacos are “street” style so just the protein, cilantro, and sauce inside the taco. I also recommend the chips and trio dip as an appetizer. In a nice location as well with ample parking in the back.
