My family has been using the pharmacy at this location since 2000. It was never great but the location was very convenient to us. The quality of the service provided by the pharmacy has been steadily declining. Every time now there is a problem that they don’t seem to care to solve. Today I went there with my son for our annual flu shots. After waiting for 40 minutes I went to ask if it was going to take much longer. They said “yes, it’s not ready yet and your insurance is not covering it”. I knew they were mistaken and informed them but they gave me the “I don’t really care” look. So I left, went to Safeway, got out flu shots in 10 minutes and of course it was totally covered by my insurance. I’m definitely taking our business (all out prescriptions - we are a family of 5!) somewhere else!

I came to pick up an already-wired prescription from my doctor at 8:45 PM. They said they couldn't fill it that night. 15 mins before closing and they can't? Anyway, she promised it would be ready first thing in the morning and I could pick it up. So I went there early i the morning since my child was suffering, and then there is a different guy there and he says they don't carry this, and asked me to shop at a different pharmacy. What? You couldn't tell that the previous night? I asked him the name of the drug so that I could call other pharmacies. He seemed bothered that he had to print out the prescription and give it to me. How else am I supposed to know the name of the drug? The doctor has directly wired it to Bartells and I don't have the name. Anyway, after acting that he was doing me a favor, he gave it to me.

Dear Bartell Management, You have serious problems in your pharmacy that need to be addressed. Yes, we do all see your 'outrageous volume' trophy behind the desk, but that is no excuse for the mishandling of people's prescriptions which their health and livelihoods rely on. I've given your location three chances over two years due to the proximity of my work and not once have I been able to fill my medications accurately. I submit them online two or three days in advance and come in to find them not ready. I didn't receive any phone call nor email notifying me of the delay. When I came back two days later (being told they'd be ready the next day) they still we're not ready. I appreciate the pharmacist securing it at another location, but she didn't ask me if that was acceptable beforehand, and it wasn't, because I was on my lunch break and the pharmacy she sent it to was 20 minutes out of my way, not including rush hour traffic. These are only my most recent issues, but I recall swearing off this location previously for something similar. I've moved now and there is not a Bartell conveniently located near my home, so you will probably be losing my business. I have never had a single problem at any of your other locations and I will gladly leave reviews saying as much. It isn't my style to complain, but I've never been so taken aback at having such a crucial aspect of my life carelessly treated. I urge you to escalate the issues in your department as soon as possible. Thank you for reviewing my feedback.

When have i ever had a good experience at this location's pharmacy, after hours? Very challenging, agonizingly slow.

This is for the Pharmacy. I’m not the type to complain and write a bad review, but it’s too much. I came to pick up my prescription and told I have to wait for 20 min and they’ll call me. 30 mins passed and I’m still waitin. I figured I’ll just wait because they were so busy. There’s also about 10 people working. An hour of waiting, one clerk noticed and offered to checked if mines was ready. 2 our of 3 are ready and was told the other one will be coming in the next day by 4pm. The next day I went around 5pm and was told they are still working on it and to wait 10 mins. I decided to come back the next day instead. The next day, I was there when they just opened and was told my meds won’t be coming in until the day after. I usually just say “Ok. I understand”, but not this time! I was so pissed! I told them to just call me when it’s ready and of course they didn’t. I called ahead the next day instead. Why tell people to comeback and make them wait only to tell them it’s not even in the store?! Why? I guess they don’t have a system where a customer get a automated call when their RX is ready.
