We had our son here in February and they made us pay for delivery in advance based on our insurance. We paid them $2700 out of pocket before we had our son. It took them nearly three months to close out the insurance claim (not their fault) but when they finally did, we had to call them to find out they owed us nearly $1600 back. My wife has called them a half dozen times to get our money back and we still have yet to be paid ( it's been almost 7 months).Whatever you do, pay them as little as possible in advance. They will ruin your credit if you don't pay them, but it is like pulling teeth to get your money back. So frustrating. Healthcare is already so expensive and no one (especially not someone with a new member of the family) has $1600 they can afford to give up.

I think post after post says it all. The Doctors are amazing, every single one we have met has been over the top incredible. However, the headache of sorting out billing after is not worth the service. We have been customers for probably 6 years and I won't deal with it any longer. We had service dates from over a year ago that we were told were cleared, then reopened, then cleared, then refunded (back to us) the re-processed and we were told we owed more. This is from service dates over a year ago and we were told we would need to provide receipts. At this point its obviously bad billing services/practices/programs or maybe even all three. I have spent countless hours on the phone to get this resolved to what we had been told by both Scott and White and Insurance (prior to service we called to verify what would be covered). And still somehow billing was incorrect over and over. If your time is worth anything stay away from dealing with them.

A year later, as is typical with this hospital, I'm still trying to resolve billing issues. Wrong spelling of my name, Date of Birth, SSN, or just entered wrong insurance. Still can't get the bills resolved. I call the insurance company and the say bills weren't even submitted to them!! However, Nurses and doctors were excellent. Doesn't really make up for the incompetence in the office.

Never been very happy with this place. My first bad visit was when my wife was having pregnancy troubles. The lady got mad wondering why we were in such a hurry. Turns out my wife needed an emergency C section. Our second child we also came back. Some nice nurses but besides that, below par. Loud noises at all times, so hard time get sleep. Kinda like an old apartment building. Plus people coming in the room at random times, 2 to 3 times an hour. Plus called the nurse with the button and no one came. I had to come out and they got mad for me coming out.

The doctor and staff members are all very friendly and helpful. However, the company is grossly misleading on billing. The billing process was, and continues to be, the worst experience I've ever had. If you have any other options, literally anywhere else, please avoid ANY Baylor Scott and White facility. I don't often read Google and Yelp reviews for my doctor, but I hope that you do. Avoid the headaches, and excess double charges, by not using BSW Health.
