If you want the most incredible view of the ocean, very clean and adorable rooms, short walking distance to the Pier, this is your place!! Everyone of the staff are just as nice as they can be. Then there is the sunsets. Gorgeous. If dining at the Fisherman's Market at the pier, get there early if you want an outside table to watch the sun sink into the Pacific. Just Go!!!

We love this place!  If you're looking for the perfect get away that is perfectly situated up off the beach (small bluff), but still striking distance from the beach (100 yards), this is it.  I was very impressed with the rooms, fire pit area, and proximity to the pier.  The management (Jimmy and his wife) are awesome!  They are always very accessible and make sure we have everything we need.  It is the perfect beach get away for us.

A quaint, small motel built in the late 1940's, but updated with all the conveniences.  Located on a bluff overlooking the beach and San Clemente pier, we sat on our porch and watched the waves, surfers, and the trains go by.  Very peaceful here.  Our objective for this trip was relaxation, and this inn was perfect!  Clean rooms with kitchens, beautiful outdoor areas, and a bonfire in the evening.  An easy walk to restaurants, coffee shops, a small market, the pier, and the beach.

We came to the Beachcomber Inn for our anniversary. It was the most peaceful and relaxing staycation ever. Watching and listening to the waves crash on the shore as the sunsets, is awe inspiring.

Beautiful, quiet, restful place in February. Cool but lots of sunshine. Room has everything we need, including a small kitchen area with full fridge and stove/oven. Gorgeous views from each room.
