This store doesn't have much in the way of plus sizes and some of the associates are rude. Some are very helpful too. You just never know which will be there. I just started going out of my way to visit the store on Gilbert.

I Love Bealles. Their swim suits are top quality. You can get $130. Suit for $30-40 bucks. Their accessories such as hats, jewelry are very hip and you can find them to go with any outfit. Perfumes and face and body products are marked down for a great save. Purses and luggage are top of the line with great prices. Household accessories are amazing. You can find an expensive gift for anyone for a fraction of the original price. Clothing is stylish and fancy or casual items you won't find anywhere else. Only reason they didn't get 5*'so is because their phone was busy for over a half hour and they left an ink tag on an item and now I have to find receipt and go back to have it removed. Big bummer. And their phone is AGAIN BUSY. I don't understand how a business can have a phone that's constantly busy. It's frustrating and unprofessional. Who's holding up the line like this? Something should be done. You just lost business once again and I'm sure I'm not the only one. GET OFFIC YOUR PHONE!

First off, Chris the manager resolved this problem by listening to the details of the experience I had there today and offering kind words of understanding along with PROFUSE apologies! I was standing in line witnessing a cashier named Jennifer being rude and short with a nice elderly lady who could not understand why she could not get $ back from her credit card purchase return (if she had used her debit she could have cash back). The cashier was indifferent and offered no explanation that this poor lady could understand. Not only was she not friendly she was downright ignoring the lady and I might add ...with a completely crappy attitude. My turn...I was returning 2 king pillow covers that should have been standard size. The 2 standard I did buy were 5.99 each, the king were 6.99 each. Jennifer credited me back only 5.99 each and when I brought it to her attention she argued with me for 2 minutes until she called over the other cashier Elaine who is supposed to be a Supervisor. She didn't have time to correcet the refund because she had 3 people in HER line....so I stood and waited for 2 more people to check out in my line and 2 more in her line before I went up to Elaine and asked how long I was I supposed to wait?? She huffed back over to Jennifer's register and for the 3rd time of explaining this receipt and refund to her, Elaine basically told me to shut up or she would't refund me....My nerves at this point were rattled and I gave these 2 ignorant cashiers a piece of my mind. Elaine let me know that her people in line said I was rude...she said a total of 5 people said that...gee Elaine...could that have been because you influenced their opinion as they were unaware of your blatant neglect???? After suggesting to Elaine that the customer is right she rolled her eyes and said "yeah, right". Nice Elaine....great customer service..... You were entirely wrong in this situation Elaine and in fact, I had heard ladies behind me commenting on how long they had to stand in line because you were too slow. I have been shopping at this store for 16 years and have always had exemplary customer service. You two cashiers seem to have a huge chip on your shoulders. Why don' t you find work you love instead of being so RUDE to customers who patronize your store and pay YOUR wage!!!!!!! I'll most likely shop at the other Beall's stores that are around town but not this one as I have a bad taste in my mouth for this store now even though the manager was nice and asked if I would please continue to shop there....but you know...we have the choice to shop where the employees treat you with respect. I might add that the manager had stepped out for lunch when this went down and came back in just before I left so he was the one who remedied my receipt error....cuz afterall these 2 cashiers were just not too bright to figure out the error!
