I waited in line for the Super Nintendo Classic Mini, and was not disappointed with their inventory.  The store is clean and not too disagreeable.  They also seem to have a lot of good deals on open box or clearance/display items.  There still isn't a section dedicated to makers, as it's a Best Buy, but the restrooms are amazingly well kept.  Overall it gets negative stars for the above lack of love for 'making'/'hacking', though that could be said of any Best Buy, really.  I'd recommend this place if you don't care about price or if you can't make it to Fry's.

Back in August I got a great student deal at another Best Buy for a fancy new laptop. I never splurge on things but decided I’m a grown up so now was the time. Even got Geek Squad protection! Alas insurance doesn’t cover theft and my laptop was stolen from my trunk in Hawaii. Came to this location to replace my laptop and met a nice employee who felt sorry for me... even though he couldn’t honor the student price, we looked on Amazon together and found the same laptop there for almost $200 cheaper! I’ve used price match at Best Buy before and they usually just make sure I’m on Amazon and honor the price. Not this location! The manager here refused to honor the price because it was technically sold by a third party albeit still through Amazon... my response? “Um okay I’ll just buy it on Amazon...” An inconvenience having to wait two more days and pay $10 shipping but really just seems dumb on their part since they just lost a customer. No other Best Buy has ever denied me a price match. Customer is always right, hence the crappy rating. 
PS They told me I’m a Best Buy platinum member since I’ve spent so much money there. Now I just feel betrayed

Went to Pacific Sales inside Best Buy store to purchase an appliance.  There was no one there to help me! Waited for 30 min and finally asked someone for help but that person told me he was too busy. Never go back there again since they don't respect customer's time and they are too cheap to have more staff to help people!

Say "hello" to me. Smile. Something. I must have passed 10 blue shirts before I was greeted. Ugh. Overall very knowledge people. I would come again if I lived nearby.

I didn't buy anything this trip, but as usual the staff was available and eager to help. We looked at a few different items in a couple different areas of the store. The customer service and product knowledge by the staff was consistent throughout. We couldn't ask for much more on this visit. We will be returning and we would recommend this store to others.
