It was a no-brainer giving VC Wireless a chance five years ago because very few companies would offer my area any type of internet service. Since then VC Wireless has added new access points and many equipment upgrades. Back then I would have said this internet service is only good for streaming netflix but now with so many improvements I can compete in online video gaming and stream High Definition movies. Valley Center Wireless promises high speeds for internet, but will never deliver on their end after the first 3 weeks of usage. My job requires me to be able to access the internet, and maintain a steady connection; however I was unable to do so while I used Valley Center Wireless. I tried to stay with the company because I believe in trying to work things out with a company prior to ditching them. They proceeded to “fix” my connection issues, and said their “repairs” would work. However, after a couple of days the same issues would resurface. It appeared to me over time that my internet speed would be throttled after periods of high usage. After many inquiries concerning the speed issues, I had been given a variety of excuses. Some of these excuses included: faulty routers (which I would replace and have the same issues afterwards), trees blocking the signals (which I proceeded to trim in attempt to resolve the problem, but to no avail.) Excuses like these were all moderately tolerable up to a certain point, but nothing excuses a “Field Technician” telling me “I don’t know, just try it.” I eventually made a switch to a much more reliable company, and have been pleased ever since.

After having been using dialup internet at a speed about 24 Kbps it is nice to get a connection of 800 Kbps. So far it has been very reliable and stable. There have been no outages that I was aware of. The install also went well with no problems. One has to understand this is not cable internet but wireless internet so one won't get the speeds with cable. But, for those of us who do not have these options this is a reasonable service.
