Story

Best Funeral Services & Chapel was established in 1987 to provide an alternative to high priced, “Wall Street” owned funeral homes and cemeteries. We maintain our commitment to offer our communities affordable Funeral & Cremation Services in Arizona.

Best Funeral Services is grateful for our ongoing association with Arizona hospice providers. Hospice care givers continue to refer their patients’ families to Best Funeral Services with confidence that families will receive the high quality services they have grown accustomed to while in hospice care.

Our staff stands ready to assist you with your needs. We can arrange shipping to any destination from Sky Harbor Airport in Phoenix. We will be happy to assist you in obtaining local information on Arizona cemeteries, Arizona crematories, churches, Arizona hospice organizations etc. We also offer complete cremation and burial pre-arrangement services for advanced planning. We are available 24 hours a day and ready to help you in any way possible.

Best Funeral Services was highly recommended to our family after the passing of my father.  Carrie Perea not only took care of all of our needs, she did so in a very professional yet caring way!  My brother and I were very happy with the service that she provided us regarding my father's autopsy and cremation.  In addition, Carrie has been very thorough in her continual communication as needed to inform us of future details.
   We cannot recommend Best Funeral Services enough and we were truly more than satisfied with our experience.

We used Best Funeral Home in Peoria 22 years ago for my Dad. Very pleased with the services we received. I called them about 8 months ago, I wanted to prepay for my cremation so when my time comes the kids will be worry free. One thing lead to another and I cancelled my appointment. I called today to schedule an appointment to work out a plan. This guy ---calles me back. Honestly he was so discombobulated and made me feel so uncomfortable. We set an appointment. I was going to call back tomorrow and cancel it. He called me this evening again not even remembering who I was or that we had set an appointment already. Cancelled the appointment and will find another place to use.

Let me start by saying how disappointed I am with Best a funeral Services in Peoria AZ.   We have used them twice before and expected to have the same type of positive experience, which we did not. The person we met with for arrangements was 25 minutes late to our appointment and walked into the room without apology and offered no condolences for our loss.  We were there to make arrangements for our mom and very distressed over our loss.  The representative completed our arrangements efficiently (like we were buying a computer or piece of furniture) and we were shocked over her lack of empathy.  In addition, she did not thank us for using their business. There was no compassion, sympathy or anything said to help us feel a little ease in our difficult situation. A letter was left for the "Director " at a later date explaining our experience.  We have not received a call "apologizing" for the bad experience or explaining how the person will be coached for future customers.  I don't feel I can comfortably use this business again as we were not valued as a person or customer.

I just wish that staff would understand its hard to say good by to loved ones. While people were still saying their goodbyes the casket was shut.
