I would highly recommend this funeral home.  I have had several family members pass away and always used this place. I recently used them again with my aunt and everyone was  very kind and sincere. Peder and Leo went out of their way to make this experience less painful. This passing was complicated because not only were services planned for Sun City, but also Chicago. The staff took care of everything - all the details were confirmed with grace and dignity.  I truly appreciate your helpfulness and support-again!

Make sure you have a very fast car when it comes time to follow the hearse to the graveyard. The hearse driver on the day of my mother's funeral service took off down Loop 101 heading to the National Memorial Cemetery going so fast, it was all we could do to keep it in sight. The funeral procession was strung out God only knows how far, and I was driving the first car behind it with my father going 80 mph and could barely keep up. I wish I had just let it go, but didn't know the way to the cemetery at the time. Maybe the driver had a hot date later that he wanted to get to so he was in a hurry? I wish I had complained to Menke at the time, but didn't since it was done. Their services were fine, but they apparently don't expend much effort in hiring their help.

Professional, personal, kind, caring....we never felt rushed, they gave us all the time we needed, they stayed out of our way but were available should we need the slightest thing. Everything was taken care of, every need anticipated. It does not get better than that. They also donated a tree to be planted in our mother's name. In 2016, it's refreshing to find a business like this that does what they say and does it with class, professionalism, and kindness. I cannot recommend them enough.

My Mom passed away and I had no idea what to expect from a funeral home - this was my first foray needing one.  Wow.  They were kind, professional, sincere, just way above and beyond what I was expecting.   Rob, Leo and the rest of the people were Amazing and really, really, really made our loss much more manageable.   I can't thank them enough.
