We enjoyed our stay here. Staff is extremely friendly. Room was decent, bed comfortable, and breakfast pretty good. It got 4 stars because room could have been cleaner....sticky syrup on desk. Also furniture needed updating. But I would definitely stay again. Staff friendliness made up for the few issues with the room. I'll just make an honorable mention of one particularly helpful staff member....Nick

Not starting my current stay on a positive. Got to the room and found that there were NO towels. Not a big deal but when I called the front desk to ask why there were NO towels I was told that if I needed towels I could come to the front desk and get some, FOR REAL???? And now to sum it up, light bulbs not working or missing, desk chair broken, only ice machine on floor was out of order, hallway/entrance light not working and what else??? With two other hotels within walking distance, best western will get no more of my business.

Staff were great and helpful until the last day. We checked out 3 days early due to horrible breakfast service, dirty room. We switched rooms twice due to dead bugs under mattress, cockroaches in air filter and hairs all over bed sheets and hand towels. Also found pizza box behind entertainment center. Staff were pleasant and helpful until last day when I walked in and one young lady says "right there" so they must have been speaking about me before I walked in and I said what they were like oh nothing we just said hello!!! Really? Come on who are you kidding? Only good thing about this place was that it was quiet and the pool was nice!

We Had a good time and my friends an I went to the great Mexican restaurant close by. The room was quiet and clean. Service was good as the main desk attendant gave personal attention to my needs.

I loved my experience with Best Western mainland! As a family with toddlers were used to being shushed and being told to quiet down, but that was not the case at this hotel! The staff was very helpful and reassuring us that our kids are okay to be a little noisy. We're also big towel users and whether they were giving us towels for pool time bath time or the little cleanups after the kids they were always very helpful and very quick to get fresh towels for us. Breakfast was pretty good usually hotels will just give you the waffles and cereals but this hotel actually had eggs and hash browns and bacon and kolaches and it mixed up every morning that we were there so we weren't just getting tired of having the same thing everyday. The pool was really nice our kids had a great time jumping in and out of it and learning that it's okay to swim with their life jackets on. They love sticking their feet under the waterfall and touching the rocks! Unfortunately it rained on one of the days that we were on vacation, the staff was very quick to offer indoor solutions for our vacation. 
The only thing that we weren't impressed by was the smell of the room. It had a very distinct mildew smell to it. I highly recommend this hotel but please take some for febreese with you!
