We stayed at this hotel the night before our cruise out of Galveston. The rooms were big and clean. We did not eat breakfast here only because time did not permit. The cruise terminal was maybe a 15-20 minute drive. Great choice for head start for cruise vacay!

I would give this hotel zero stars if I could! I had an incident here back in July 2017 that they still have yet to resolve. The air conditioner in my room stopped working and I asked them to fix it and they said it was working fine even tHough it was blowing hot air. My 1 year old was pouring sweat and we had to get cold water and dab it on her to keep her from overheating. The next morning, I spoke with the manager and she was VERY rude. And they refuse to do anything about this poor experience!!!!!

The room was spacious and felt pretty clean but the bed was hard and uncomfortable. The a/c would never get low enough to really cool off the room to our liking. The breakfast was barely edible. Best part was the waffle but all other items were not fresh ornkept properly cold. This is our 2nd stay at a hotel from this line and won't return unless there are no other options.

The smell is horrible and the hotel is run down badly. Not at all what I expected from a comfort inn. Portable a/c in halls leaking. Mildew and old smoke odors. This hotel is non smoking. The duvet cover and spread had pickings with darkened areas and the sheets had a yellow cast to them. Doors in room had paint peeling or chipped but the worst part is the finger prints and liquid drips down the door and on the head board. I had one room 206 but it was so filthy and disgusting I moved. The second room was not better but atleast the microwave did not smell like someone’s old Italian meal. Front desk was nice but has no idea how bad this is. I spoke to them to change rooms and still got a filthy room. I moved to 308. Bad bad bad experience. Will NEVER come here again. Front desk clerk smoking and hanging out with a “guest”. The bed is awful and I travel all over for business and this is one of those make or break deals. Even though I have stayed at others that are okay. They allow this hotel to be under that umbrella - never again will I stay at one in this chain. Marriott and it’s affiliates I am coming back thankful for standards.

Staff is super friendly and helpful. Centrally located to must of the local area's features. Hotel offers WiFi, and when it works, it works great. But during my stay out it almost never worked. They also have a pretty good pool.
