This a great park for lots of fun, hiking, camping (you'll have to reserve in advance), swimming, just enjoying life or communing with nature. It's the Falls Trails (7+ and 3+ miles) that journey through 21 different and magnificent waterfalls that is certainly one of the major highlights. The trail can be difficult at times and slippery when wet but boy you'll be treated to some great sights. Be sure to bring your camera and extra batteries, because you will certainly use it a lot. The Park staff is excellent, helpful and fun to talk with and knowledgeable of their charge. It is best to go when there has been a lot of rain as the flow of Kitchen Creek varies a lot. We have visited multiple times and have never been disappointed.

Don't get me wrong, this place is BEAUTIFUL! But if you are looking for a rugged, rustic hike where you won't see another soul, this place isn't for you. We went on a Saturday and the trails were absolutely crawling with people. Also, many portions of the trail were concrete pathways. This does make the park more accessible to a wider range of skill levels and ages but, I still wouldn't bring kids under 6 as it would be challenging for them on their own.

Awesome place! Kayaking, hiking, swimming. Kayaks can be rented by the hour or the day. They have paddle boats and canoes too. Fun spot for a day trip! Check out the ice cream place down the road, Red Rock scoop too!

We stayed at Family Cabins. Its very nice clean inside wooden houses. Its got a small kitchen together with living room. Got the huge table with benches instead of chairs in the dining area of the kitchen. Bathroom with the shower. Bunk beds. When we went for a walk on trails the ranger saw us and said you need to registet at the office if you would like to walk on trails and even asked us if we renting a cabin. It was really rude. Why do you need to register to walk on trails? Never heard such a thing otherwise we had couple days of great spent tome with family.

5 star beauty, 1 star experience with all the idiot entitled people. Beautiful hike, with a ton of waterfalls. However, if you want any sort of seclusion, or hate having people in your photos then you will need to go in the off season as this place is very busy. In the winter it does get very icy so have the appropriate gear if you go. I cannot state how bad people behaved when I was there each time. People block the trail for their shot, but refuse to be courteous for your photograph. They talk loudly as if they're the only ones there and that "silence" in the woods is not something to appreciate. Another thing I cannot stand is the amount of people letting their kids run amok. It really ruins the atmosphere of the place. You would think the staff and "law enforcement" would want the people and kids to be controlled, but they are more worried with petty stuff than the safety of the kids and people due to their shenanigans off trail and trying to climb on or to the falls. I'll only go back in the off season, non holiday, or not on weekends.
