I have had nothing but amazing experiences with the bike and hike crew. I have purchased at least seven bikes from them for my family and me and each time they were attentive and got me a good deal. Ray is a great mechanic and just a good all around guy. Brenden is a force in the community, making biking a way of life in a small central Illinois community. It's great to have this store so close to home.

I have nothing bad to say about them but to the two guys whining like babies about their tubes, why are you even riding a bike, one who the hell doesn’t know how to change or put a tube in, and 2 if you didn’t know what size tube you need take a look at the side of the tire and i bet it tells you, if it doesn’t look up the tire by yourself be a man, most bikers could look at a tire and know what size it is

These guys are awesome! Had to get my son's bike to a cub scout bike ride, but it wouldn't fit in my tiny car. They were able to set me up with a bike rack. Ray took the time to put it together for me, and show me how to use it. Great customer service!

Through the knowledge base, support, and sheer commitment this shop expresses to all things cycling I can say that Bike and Hike (Charleston) is the premier business to go to for all East Central Illinois cycling needs. I have been genuinely satisfied every time I hit the trail or road after my bike has been serviced. I am the proud owner of multiple Trek Bikes, all of which are serviced through this shop by Ray and Brendan (shout out)!

Bike & Hike is absolutely the best bicycle shop around with superior customer service! The guys are extremely knowledgeable and always have time to answer any questions. I have purchased three bikes, a custom wheel set, and tons of accessories and gear and will not shop anywhere else. I always bring my bike in for a quick check before races or trips and am beyond pleased with their work. BEST BIKE SHOP AROUND!
