This was the absolute worst experience of my life. They made my girlfriend and I wait 3 hours to have them tell us our cat was okay. He literally screams in pain when he tries to walk. We informed them we saw he had bloody stools (severely bloody) and they said he was fine, when we got home there was blood on the pad inside his carrier. They said he may have a herniated disc and immediately got extremely predatory saying it would cost $150 to have a second physician take a look at the X-rays right away. They also put us in an empty room for 45 minutes claiming they were ready for us. One of the nurses then came to talk to us and he was still eating his lunch. These issues barely even begin to scratch the surface. This place is absolute trash, we get it’s your job, but take some pride in it. Have some empathy for these creatures that we consider family.

Dr. Wright and the team were able to find that my dog had stomach cancer. This was really important for me to know so I could make the best decisions possible for him. I really liked the print-out sheet they gave when I left that described the medications, findings, and plan for him. I thought it was super helpful and I have never gotten anything like it before, at a regular doctor or vet! This place is much better than Advanced Veterinary Care on 3300 S, where I had a terrible experience. I would only say the BluePearl building feels really cold inside, like a hospital, and I got the feeling my dog really did not want to stay there. This is opposite of University Veterinary, where my dog loves it there. Their schedule also was pushed back a lot on the day I had an appointment, and I felt like they didn't do a great job telling me my dog would be there for a longer time. But other than that I would recommend this place.

The staff at Blue Pearl was awesome - very friendly and answered all my questions. The Vet took a lot of time with us and our dog Abby who was wheezing and struggling to get breath at times. She filled us in on the diagnosis and again, answered all our questions (and we had a lot). Today, 3 days later, our Abby is a totally different dog - she is healthy and once again breathing normally after we started the medications that were prescribed. It was so reassuring to have a good emergency clinic available on the weekend to take care of our Corgi.

This business is the perfect example of people going into a business not for the love of helping these beautiful animals but for the love of money. These people are heartless and look @ you and your pets as money signs as you walk into their hospital. Our dog got something lodged in his tummy that required surgery. They charged us $600 for the visit and the X-ray and told us it would be $3200 up front for him to get surgery to remove it. I cried and and begged and said I did not have $3200 up front that I had $1500 and asked if we can make some sort of payment arrangements. What I was told was to prepare myself for my dog to either die that night and if not that night definitely before the end of the week if I didn’t find a way to come up with the $3200. I took him home devastated and crying. I called family and friends and was referred to Willow Creek Veterinary who are truly in this for these pets and their families. The Vet on call cleared his morning schedule and took my dog right in for emergency surgery, and they were willing to work out payment plans with me. Blue Pearl is a HORRIBLE MONEY HUNGRY PLACE!!

The staff are knowledgeable and compassionate. On our most recent visit we unfortunately had to put our dog to sleep. We were treated with the utmost care and respect, and our dog was made comfortable and treated very kindly. The staff explained the procedure and gave us as much time as we needed to mourn. We were never rushed. We love Blue Pearl and their level of service.
