Fun spot to grab a drink after a day out, particularly if you're staying at the Renaissance. Can't speak to the food options as we didn't order anything to eat, however service was good and the whiskey options were more expansive than I expected.
The food I ordered was just so so and nothing special about it. I was expecting a little better because it’s within the hotel premises and that’s a bit pricey. The service is a kind of slow because the staffs also taking care of the bar area orders. Lack of manpower.
A whole lot of disappointed. We were really excited to have a date night here but it just didn't meet the hype. We waited almost an hour for drinks, and two tables left before ordering during that time. When we received our appetizer, the cheese was congealed and separated. When dinner finally arrived, it was ok, but nothing to rave about and certainly not worth the wait. The service was deplorable I could not get a water refill and waited 20 minutes for silverware after the appetizer arrived. I would not go again, even if it were a fluke. Communication is key and there was none.‍
A little pricey, but the atmosphere is nice for a late night drink. It's a bit small if you're with a big party, however you'll enjoy the intimate conversation if you're with a smaller group or yourself.Food: 4/5
nice place for breakfast inside of the Raddison hotel.Food: 5/5
Had a great Sunday breakfast here party of 8 before walking right next door to the Byham, to see a holiday play. The food was great & the service was better! Kid-friendliness: Kids menu is an option for all meals.
I thought it was tasty and fun..loved the theme. got the special, a short rib ravioli and it was great! everyone got dessert too. the flourless cake tasted more like a brownie, but aside from that, delicious.
Expensive but yummy. Service was good but it took a long time to get food and desert took absolutely forever. We made reservations a week in advanced and for new year's eve and it was one of the few places we found that was available. They had a whole new year's eve menu. Four course for $65. It's inside the Renaissance Hotel which we weren't expecting.
This restaurant is by the lobby of the Renaissance Pittsburgh Hotel. I recommend taking a daily special. I'm sure everything on the menu is great but I love going for what's not on the menu. This night was Halibut with a Brazilian Stew and mussels. It was loaded with flavor! Even the drinks were mixed well. I'm a huge peach fan so I went with a Princess Peach cocktail. The balance of it was perfect. Definitely a must get next time I'm in Pittsburgh again.
We went to Braddock's Street side, the more casual bar portion. The cocktails were solid and well priced. We stayed until last call and they even let us take our drinks in the lobby and up to our room to finish. Overall I loved having this great option in our hotel.
