Let me start out by saying I LOVE Melissa! She was really helpful and went out of her way to help me find the best apartment. The complex itself is a decent place to live but the rent is a bit pricey. I pay over 820 for a rather small apartment and in addition to that I pay for water, sewage and trash! On top of that they charge a reoccurring fee to view your rent statement which I don't need because I know how much my rent is a month! And from past experience I know my rent will go up after my current lease is up. So needless to say I will be on the hunt for a new place

SCAM ARTISTS. My lease was up in April 2017. I notified the office that I was currently trying to purchase a home & I would need to extend my lease until the middle of May. They extended my lease until June to give me extra time. A week later, I found a home, and told management I will be ending my lease by the middle of May. They told me that someone was on the waiting list for my unit for the 2nd week in May and that I would still have to pay for the extra month but will get my money back once the tenant on the waiting list moved in. Once June came around I visited Broadmoor (because they never answer the phone) and asked about my refund. They're response was that the tenant changed the move in date to the 2nd week of June. This was basically they're plot to get me to pay for an extra month on a vacant apartment. On top of that I received a $105 past due water bill from them for the month of May. When I went to visit Friday June 23 (because they Never answer the phone), I was told I was charged $12 for the Water plus fees for not having renters insurance my last month as a tenant witch resulted in a $105 dollar fee. I assured management (emailed them proof of insurance) that I was insured during the month of May and they told me it was nothing they could do about being that the insurance company had already billed the apartment complex. I now have to take my issue up with the collections agency. The sad part about this whole process is that I was practically begged by one of the property managers to leave a good review. She told me that previous tenants were leaving poor reviews because of fines they received, and deposit holds once they left Broadmoor. Overall the apartments are nice but management SUCKS. They never answer the phone and when it comes to money, they have an "I can't really help, take it up with corporate attitude" . So I guess that's what I have to do. It's sad to see that tenants who pay rent on time, never had a pest problem and kept the apartment in perfect condition get treated like this by Broadmoor. Oh well hopefully the bean counters in the cooperate office can better assist me.

Property manager YAYA IS USELESS. She failed to inspect our unit before our move in (as several office staff told me she was supposed to do) so we moved in with a non working dishwasher. She also failed to enter our renters insurance for several months so we got additional charges on our rent several times that had to be cleared up. Melissa in the office is awesome to work with and was always quick to fix the mistake each time. Still took several months of the office staff leaving notes for Yaya for it to be corrected. There are also several lights around the parking lot that are either out/broken or flicker on and off during the night which is awful for bed time dog walks. One whole side of our buildings flood lights have also been out for months making it very dark outside at night. Otherwise the apartment isn't TOO bad. Great location for us and the price was right. Just know you will be dealing with screaming children running up and down the stairs non stop as only 1/3rd of the families here take their children to the playground. Most of the residents also spend 90% of their day (and night) walking laps around the complex in the middle of the parking lot (not on the sidewalk) and will glare at you when you approach them in your car waiting for them to move. If Yaya doesn't mess up your account from the beginning, your apartment doesn't require and maintenance requests, and you can deal with an entire apartment complex filled with the worst neighbors ever then go for it.

I moved in late February 2017, and have regretted it ever since. I have had several minor issues, but the most recent one has been the worst. Not even 2 months after moving in, I found two bed bugs on the carpet in my living room. I had not been traveling so I know that I did not bring them in- the office will not disclose if other apartments have bed bugs, but I am convinced these came from my neighbors. I immediately notified the office, and within a week my apartment was inspected and treated. This has been a huge headache for me, and I am very unsatisfied with how the manager Yaya has dealt with this situation. I had to pay for a hotel for a week, and I can’t even get her to respond to my emails. Poor Melissa in the office has been forced to be the middle man, which I find very unprofessional. The manager should be stepping up in cases like this. Overall, save yourself the headache and avoid Broadmoor.
