We were very happy with the move to Tuckahoe Creek. The location is ideal, and renovations are immaculate. Tc, the assistant manager was excellent throughout the process and made it a seamless transition. I am very thankful to call this place home.

I lived here for two years and was very happy with my experience overall. The apartments are old, so they are not as fancy as some other apartments in Richmond, but they have everything you could need and are very affordable. The bedrooms are a great size! In the two years I lived at Tuckahoe, I only had a few maintenance problems and the maintenance team helped me right away. The management staff is also very kind and helpful! I would absolutely recommend Tuckahoe to anyone looking for an apartment in the area.

Very impressed with the folks at the Tuckahoe Creek leasing office. At our old place, the leasing agents and local managers just give you the lines they've been given, and nevermind trying to come up with creative solutions (or any solutions) to problems. But not here, I'm happy to say. My husband and I have been super excited to move in- it's a really nice complex in a very convenient area, but there was an unexpected mix-up today when we went to pick up our keys. We were upset, but T.C. Carter, a new manager at Tuckahoe, went out of his way to ask us our thoughts on how he could make things better for us, and then came up with the creative solution to get us exactly what we were looking for. The whole team- T.C., Marie, and Shannon- were great, articulate, and acted like they cared about my family and our new home.  So to make that long story short, we're still happy to be moving to Tuckahoe, and I'm very grateful for straight-talking people who can work with you to get things done.

A huge red flag when management doesn't bother to properly clean a vacant apartment.  The models are beautiful but beware to see the actual apartment so you aren't fooled.  There are other apartments in the area that cost less, the pro is that the schools are good. Run.  Another red flag is management not wanting to fix anything.

Beware of bait and switch pricing!  Received a quote for a unit on Wednesday.  Returned that Friday and received a higher rate for an identical unit.  Put in application and fees Friday afternoon at the higher rate.  By Monday morning I was approved and they jacked the rates again.  I requested the rates that was offered on Wednesday or Friday and the manager refused.  I was told the rates would continue to go up the longer I waited to execute the lease.  I requested a copy of the full lease to review and was told I had to execute the lease before I would get a copy.  I was forced to terminate the process.  I was able to find another apartment complex which did not play games with pricing.  

I have a number of staff relocating to the area.  The proximity of the complex to our office made the situation ideal.  However, the management company’s variable pricing games places their complexes on a no go status.  It appears the company is more interested in extracting money from residents than developing long term relationships.
