Cheap rental.

Hello future resident,

Be cautious about this place!!! I have been thru this.

I lived in Yorktown & Jamestown appartments of Wilton Companies. On the day of my move in it I found that the apartment was not cleaned and not even the bathroom was cleaned ---looked nasty(***). 

They had BED BUG issues in their 40 year old apartments.The hardwood floors were painted with dust and nails sticking on it after the painting.Since the contract was for a year I had to live there. 

I went there because they were cheap and you get what you pay for. In my case I didn't get that too.You would expect the apartment to be clean and livable when you move in but they were not. If you sign the agreement papers before you inspect your apartment they will not do any adjustments, I'm sorry you will have to live with it.

The Manager of the property is RUDE and I have never found a residential property manager as rude. May be I'm feeling this because I have mostly lived in places with nice and friendly management people. Please DO NOT expect that here at wilton's.

During snow, they will never clean up the roads(not even once), you will have to drive on snow, no options.

Most of all, they will rip you off if you decide to move out. They ripped me off several hundreds, I was wondering if this is just for me but I got a feeling that they were doing it most of them. One of my friend lived there for 3-4 years and when he decided to move they charges him close to $1000 mostly for carpet cleanliness. If you live in an apartment for 3+ years , there would be normal war and tear but if you go here, you are paying for it or you will pay in court, collections.

I should also say the good thing, the only thing they had is the maintenence personnel they try to do any minimal issues in 24-48 hours.

I would give them a lower rating if apartmentreviews had the option.
