I live there now and everything was fine until 2 weeks ago, my neighbor across the hall moved out. After they moved out and maintenance began fixing their unit for the next tenant, roaches started coming across the hallway and into my apartment. Half of the time when I open my door roaches will be on my door, on the threshold, or even just run into my apartment. I've literally been sitting in my living room and watched a roach crawl in through the crack of the door. I complained multiple times, but I had to wait an entire week before anything was done about it because they only spray on Tuesdays. I asked if the common area of the apartment could be sprayed, but that hasn't been done yet, allegedly it will be done this coming Tuesday. I've spent over $100 of my own money in pest control in 2 weeks, but it doesn't seem to be stopping the roaches. When I got off of work Friday, I bought some sticky traps to put outside of my front door to catch the roaches before they walk in to my apartment. Since Friday around 6pm (today is Sunday around 2pm), there are 55 roaches on the sticky traps...FIFTY FIVE! Granted, the majority of them are babies, babies eventually grow into full sized roaches. I can only imagine how many managed to find their way inside of my apartment BEFORE I put the sticky traps out there. If and when the problem is solved, I will update this post. As of right now, I would not recommend living in Carriage Club. UPDATE: The issue seems to have been resolved. I have not seen any live roaches in the hallway for a couple of weeks now and it doesn't even look like there are many dead ones out in the common spaces anymore. I'm not sure if it's because I researched and invested in purchasing more high quality bait and applied it inside and outside of my apartment or if the exterminators' work finally paid off. Maintenance did install a sweeper on the bottom of my door for added security from the bugs, so that's great. I still keep the perimeter of my door taped so no bugs can get in from the hallway, just to be safe. I'm hoping that everything stays calm for the duration of my lease. I'll change my rating to a 3, because I'm still not 100% satisfied with the leasing office's response time to certain issues. I asked for my apartment to be sprayed weekly, and the property manager told me that she would note that for the exterminators, but they literally went without spraying my apartment 3 weeks in a row. Its super inconvenient to have to manually put in a work order EVERY WEEK.

I lived here for a year with my gf. Bugs were a small issue, never that bad in my experience. My issue was with the management. We had a "renovated" apartment that lacked a "renovated" shower and it took them six months to tell me that the renovation was cancelled because the shower "wouldn't fit." I never got any notice of that until I called them asking what was up. They came and treated the old tub with a coating, but never fixed the shower head or knobs despite me calling in a work order for it. The apartment itself otherwise was nice. We decided not to renew our lease however because when we moved in, it was "utilities included" but they decided to change that as well as significantly raise rent. The real issue I had was with the management. As per the lease agreement, residents are required to give a 60 day notice if they intend on moving out. In the "resident portal" on the website (where you can also pay your rent), you're able to submit that notice via your account, which I did after receiving an email prompting me to renew my lease. I tried calling to confirm during our last two months, but I never got a call back from management within that time, nor was I able to get hold of anyone during office hours. I just assumed it went through since I was sent a confirmation email automatically. Well today is the day I turn in my keys and I get a call saying they never got the notice and that I'm on the hook for 30 more days. Nope. That's not happening. After being hung up on by an "Allison," who kept repeating herself and not listening to anything I was saying, I drove down to the office and demanded a manager. A "Lisa" called me and was able to find my notice (submitted before the 60 day stipulation) but ONLY with the help of a maintenance tech named "Jaime." Jaime was able to find the notice in the system quickly and guided Lisa over the phone on how to find it. I hope that guy is doing well as an employee here because he's given better customer service than anyone I've dealt with at Hunt Club. Lisa was also much easier to speak with than Allison. I should be receiving some kind of email confirming everything is okay in the next few days, but if not, I'll be calling. There's no way I'm paying for 30 days, especially when I followed the guidelines. Other minor issues include: Don't expect to be able to park in front of your apartment, residents rip handicapped signs out of the ground so they can park in front of their building, and the dumpsters are often full and surrounded by broken glass. Wear shoes. I would have given this place 1 star, only because I can't give them 0, but I'm giving them two. One for Lisa and one for Jaime. They got me square and I appreciate them.

Just curious ANYONE? Reading the reviews, are bed bugs and roaches still a problem? I went here today because the leasing consultant called me to come in for a tour, the office smells like it has recently been exterminated( bug smell). The leasing consultant's answer to every question I asked was "I don't know, I'm new here, maybe you can ask the manager".(btw, the manager wasn't there. How can someone call you and ask you to come in and apply and can't answer any of your questions. After reading these reviews, they should be begging people to move in.

Don't move here! Worst most unprofessional complex ever! I could go on for paragraphs about all the issues. Do yourself a favor and don't even bother. You'll be paying a ridiculous price for a subpar apartment and the most poor management and maintenance services of any apartment I've ever lived.

Just Garbage even renovated. Overpriced. Bugs. Plumbing issues. Us versus them mentality with management. Comcast only. Have to park far away from apartment. Pure inconvenience. First place I've disliked ever.
