No prior communication regarding their policies. Wouldn't accept debit cards. Wouldn't honor AARP. Can't check insurance coverage on weekends so was charged additional 25 dollars per day. Charged 200 dollars deposit. My reservation stated my charge was 398 dollars. I was charged 698 dollars. Car got a flat. Then it froze and wouldn't start. Then they tried to charge me 60 dollars for a jump. Sent me to 3 different places to change the car. This was the start of my vacation miles and miles away from home. Will never use Budget again.

My wife and I were treated with disrespect both times we had to go into the office. The first time (when I was there to pick up a furniture dolly which I had paid for and not received) I was standing in line at the service desk when an employee barged in and in a rough tone rudely DEMANDED, not asked, me to move my vehicle because he was trying to move a rental truck. Mind you, I was parked up front in a clearly marked customer parking space. I blew this off as him having a bad day or maybe just s bad life. However, this morning when I dropped the truck off I can see that General etiquette and manners are not skills possessed by most of this locations employees. After inspecting the truck, the employee walked in and accused me of cracking the windshield. After explaining that the truck was in this condition when I picked it up and that I have both picture documentation and had spoken to Budget Customer Service before I even took the truck off the pickup lot, he told me I couldn't turn the truck in without filling out an accident report. Since there was no "accident" to report I refused to fill out anything that this crooked Budget affiliate might try to use to incriminate me for damages which did not occur under my lease.

This particular Budget affiliate needs to teach their employees how to treat a customer. Disrespect and baseless accusations DO NOT inspire customer loyalty. I DO NOT RECOMMEND renting from this location. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere.

Had the worst experience ever
.. Booked a full size car for 2 week... Spend 1000$ and the agent Sherry or Cherry, whatever it was... the lady in charge in Gainesville... treats me like dirt by giving me a bad car that's had junk inside.. under the seat... The car had issues too which we did report but she refused to switch the car and had to go ahead with that one... We later had to come back 4 days later to switch it no matter what because the car was acting funny... Never ever gonna book a budget ever again...

Not good service can improve and provided cars from old stock. Very very less selection of cars.
