Drove this crappy truck with "Check Engine" light on from South Florida to Rockville, MD. Filled the tank up with $70 across the street right before dropping it off after hours. Left the receipt in the cupholder to show that I did my part in filling the tank. Well allegedly, I was $14 off, approx. 5 gallons. So 6 days later they charged me $45 which includes the fee. Customer Service wants the receipt emailed to them in a formal complaint. The receipt I gave the crooks (mistake on my part). Yet no one can prove to me that the take really needed 5 more gallons. My theory: This was an afterhour drop off and they used this opportunity to milk more money out of my reservation. I'll take this $45 loss but I will NEVER use Budget again for my moving needs and will continue with U-Haul, even for a higher price.

The online reservation program was easy to use and Budget's website had the best prices of the 3 major car rental sites (I had a Groupon savings code too - also nice!).  
The pick-up location on Parklawn Drive (Corner of Parklawn & Boiling Brook) was a bit hard to find as the place is actually tucked into the confusing industrial area, but when I finally found them, they had the car cleaned, gassed and ready to go, and I was also able to leave my car in their parking lot for the duration of my trip.  The walkthru, paperwork, etc. only took 5 minutes and then I was on the road.  
Having the location open on the weekends is also a great perk as I was able to return the car on a Saturday, instead of waiting til Monday.  I'll definitely rent from Budget again!

My first time renting a vehicle and I was thoroughly impressed with the customer service and vehicles they had.  I needed a Moving truck and SUV to help me move to my new home.   “Plamena” explained the process and had me out the door with both vehicles in no time.  Stress free and very pleasant experience.   Thank you!!!!

I reserved a moving truck online and showed up to retrieve the truck and they told me none were available. Please save yourself the hassle and choose Uhaul, Penske or enterprise. TERRIBLE phone customer service.
