This was the dirtiest car  I have ever rented!! The windshield was smudged and filmy on the inside. Smashed bugs were all over the front of the grill and bumper. The windows and mirrors we so spotted on the outside I could not see through them. I had to stop at a gas station to clean them. The pavement was not wet around the car and there weren't any water spots on the rest of the car! Obviously just hadn't bothered to clean them. There was also part of a straw paper in the cup holder.

Maybe my expectations are too high.  I was provided a 2020 GMC Terrain for the first vehicle I was assigned to.  It was disgusting inside.  Seats were stained, and just generally dirty and smelly inside.  I don't know how many miles were on that vehicle but it's past time to be swapped out of the fleet.  I walked back to the rental counter and asked for a different vehicle.  I was provided an older Toyota 4Runner.  It was also not in very good condition.  I drove that vehicle 15 miles for a one-day rental.  When I returned it, I asked that an extra-hour charge be removed.  It couldn't be accomplished by the lady at the rental counter.  I also noticed a $25 charge for fuel.  I returned it full.  It was documented by the return person.  No matter, I was charged $25 for fuel.  Most of the rental experience wasn't pleasant.  I'm awaiting a phone call from the Budget / Avis manager for CAK to remedy these issues.

First, the car I rented and paid for online was not available. I had to get someone to take me all the way out to the airport instead, which was incredibly inconvenient and not where I reserved the car from. Then, the person who gave me the keys tricked me into paying for gas upfront, though she knew based on mileage that I would only need about one-third tank of gas. I wasn't thinking straight because my mom had a stroke this was the whole reason I needed the car in the first place and I was taken advantage of in my time of need. I will never rent from Budget again, and I warn anyone who does to pay close attention to their devious ploys to get you to spend more money unnecessarily. Also, the car they gave me vibrated when I accelerated over 60 mph. It was uncomfortable and loud.

I reserved a specific type and size vehicle and called to confirm the day before and they assured me it was ready. When I arrived at the airport the car and size were not available and when I asked why did the agent said well that one left already you want a Subaru or a Jeep? I said neither. I don’t need a big SUV and she said well those are your options. Pick one. So no I wouldn’t recommend this location.

It was my first experience of renting a car and Budget made it a positive experience. The collection and drop off process was quick and easy. The car was clean and in good condition. Thank you Budget!

I had made a reservation In advance for a vehicle to pick up. When I got to check in, I had to wait 2.5 hours for a car I made a reservation to be ready at 10am. I was told I would get charged for two days if I went over 24 hours. But the time started from the time I got checked out- not the time I got the vehicle. If I made a reservation for a vehicle should it not be ready when I get there? And then to tell me that the 24 hours started before I even got the vehicle? That wasn’t fair. Therefore I was rushed when driving- when I shouldn’t not have been. Secondly when I finally got the vehicle it wasn’t washed and the tire light was on… The service was nothing what I would expect from Budget and really made my experience with Budget unpleasant. My experience made me feel cheated and as though it was unethical. The customer service from the unclean car after waiting 2.5 hours and low pressure tire was beyond subpar. I was very let down with my Budget car rental experience.

I was very disappointed in budget when I rented my vehicle in Akron/Canton.My flight got delayed and in the past in any other city this has never been a problem with Budget. I call them and they give me up to 4 hours to return the car.Not this time they charged me an entire day for 3 hours.Very dissatisfied with Budget and because there are so many other options I am questioning doing business with them again.

Renting a car from Budget/Avis at CAK was a great experience.  Michelle was extremely professional, polite and efficient. The car was great, overall excellent experience.  Would definitely rent here again.

The customer service team at Budget was excellent and very helpful to us as we worked thru travel/weather challenges!  They make our decision for future rentals an easy one!

My family and I rented a suv for 2 weeks while one vacation. The rental  we received  was a 2022 Ford edge  very nice suv, great on gas and  rides so smooth.  Had a little  trouble  finding where to pick up the suv and the lady was very rude to myself and my elderly mother she acted like she didn't wanna be there to help anyone but beside that I Would definitely  rent from them again
