Worst experience EVER. We missed the confirmation call the night before our reservation so my wife called the local office and was harasses and treated poorly. I then called the 1 800 number for customer service. I was assured my reservation was confirmed so imagine my surprise when we arrive at budget to be told they didn't have the full size suv I had reserved because my reservation hadn't been confirmed. I had to settle for a vehicle really not large enough for what we needed and then ended up being charged the same price as I would have for a full size suv so not only did I get burned on my reservation but I got ripped off. I tried to call customer service and was basically told I didn't know what I was talking about but told my reservation was confirmed and I was lying. I asked for a manager and was put on hold for 35 minutes before I hung up. DO  NOT rent from them. Go to Enterprise. They didn't even try to make it right. If I could give them negative stars I would.

showed up to pick up a van and they did not have the van that we had reserved, then they called the airport location to make sure that they had a van, they said that they did so the employee said that I had to take one of their cars and exchange it at the airport if I wanted the van. I was so frustrated and realized that it was going to be the only way for me to get the car that I needed for my trip. I took one of their cars to the airport and showed up and there was no van. I could not believe it. I was beyond frustrated. I had spent over an hour waiting on them and then all of this happened. they ended up giving me an suv but the gentleman at the airport was extremely unprofessional, basically said, sorry man cant really help you. While all of this was happening my wife called the customer service line and they hung up on her 2 times. I will not be using Budget moving forward and will not recommend anyone use their service.

Horrible company. It's worth paying a little extra to go to another car rental company. The experience was utterly horrible. I reserved a vehicle at the South Jordan location a week in advance. showed up the day of pickup and the vehicle was not there. They sent me to the Murray location to pick up the vehicle I had reserved and offered only a $10 discount for my trouble which I had to remind them several times to do in the end. I tried calling the store several times during the process with the phone only ringing nonstop. Me and my wife actually called the store as we were pulling up and saw the employee sitting out front smoking a cigarette while the phone just ring over and over. When I finally returned the vehicle it took way too long for them to refund the $150 deposit back in my account. Each time I call to ask why the money wasn't put back in my account yet. The phone would ring endlesslyperiod when you called corporate customer service number they said there was nothing they could do that I needed to talk to the store. When I finally got ahold of somebody at the store they said there's nothing they could do I would have to call the corporate customer service line. after a week of trying to get somebody to do something. Finally a manager at the Murray store push the button on his computer and the money was magically back in my account. Do not ever rent a vehicle from these people do not give them your business. They do not deserve it. only in the hopes that no one else will ever have to go through such a disappointing experience with something as simple as renting a vehicle. Pay the extra money and just use Enterprise.

I had reserved a full size sedan, which they didn't have in stock when I arrived.  They only had larger cars on their lot, and they told me that they would have to charge me extra to get one of them - even though I had a reservation and they had no other options.   They seems like a dirty trick to get me to pay extra money I shouldn't have to pay.

I pushed back, and they then found one they could give me for no extra cost.  But they told me they didn't want me to drive it around too much and get too many miles on it, even though my rental reservation was for united miles.

I arrived at 12:30pm on a Sunday, and there were no other customers there when I arrived.  But it still took them 45 minutes to get the paperwork done.  It was a very slow checkout process.

Since Budget moved to the new location in Murray the service has been extremely good.  I have rented from this location 3 times this summer.  They were really good about helping me get the auto that would accommodate my needs even though I rented something slightly different.  I will keep using this location.
