We reserved a truck, came there to pick it up, and there was no one in the office. The building was closed, and nobody was answering the phone. There were other people coming in to pick up their reserved cars, or drop cars off. It is absolutely appalling for a business to be treating customers like that.
The customer service was also quite terrible: I was on the line with them for quite some time, they transferred me from one representative to the other 5 times, each time I had to give them my confirmation number and the dates of rental, and eventually no one apologized, and no one was able to help.
We ended calling up U-HAUL, and they were able to find us a truck in the vicinity momentarily. Their representative was very helpful, and we got our car in 20 minutes. I'm never using Budget again.

I rent from Budget Princeton, NJ on a semi-regular basis. They are  great folks: courteous, helpful and will go out of their way to make sure you get the best deal. If there is a problem, don't be afraid to ask  them work it out.

We rented a van from budget to help our son move. The rental rate was very good. The staff was courteious, polite and helpful. The vehicle was in excellent condition. Pickup and drop-off was very easy. This is the first time I have rented through Budget. Based on this experience I am very likely to rent from Budget again as well as recommend them to friends and family

Terrible service! They were unable to provide vehicle size reserved and I had to deal with being charged the higher rate. Policies were not clearly explained either and additional fees were assessed as a result. I was referred to customer care for complaints and they advised that the branch has to help- nice. Other Budget branches provide an exceptional level of service- these folks are horrible!

Rented a truck for moving got charged for 70-80 extra miles than I used which is over a hundred dollar difference. My husband even noticed the mileage was running up faster than was normal in the car.  I contacted uhaul and am waiting for a resolution. If I can't get one I will be contacting the better business bureau. This place is scamming people.
