I was referred to Butler  Creek ANIMAL Hospital by my dog's primary doctor to have some X-RAYS done. I found the staff to be very courteous and sympathetic, as well as helpful. Pepper responded very well to all of them. I especially liked Dr. Shell. He was very professional, yet personable. After performing the x-rays, he took the time to answer all of my concerns, as we discussed the options for Pepper's condition. I would definitely recommend them to all of my friends who consider their pets a priority, and as a member of their family.

This was my cat's first time at the vet. The staff was extremely nice. They even told me that since my little baby's an indoor only cat, with only one other female in the house, that we could wait for a while to get her examined to see if she has been spayed. I'm glad that they didn't try to force anything on me. Their main concern was for my cat's health and my wishes. 

My cat was extremely calm with them, which is unusual since she using darts at God speed if she is around people she does not know. You can tell that they really care about animals and that your animals are in good hands. 

Don't be discouraged by the one star reviews on here. Most one star reviews are due to the fact that their pet was misdiagnosed. This is due to the fact that unlike humans, pets can't actively tell the doctor what is wrong. The symptoms could be multiple things. What matters is that they work with your pet to try to find the most likely source of their ailment.

Definitely will be coming back!

I went in to get my elderly dog Gibson checked out. I was so scared I was shaking and crying my eyes out before anyone ever even came in the room. The techs were very kind and reassuring. However, I had felt for a few days that I was about to lose my baby boy. While doing testing, he passed out. They were able to revive him with oxygen and bring him back to me. He came in the room and his breathing was about the same as it was when we came in. It was one of the reasons I brought him. He sat down, then laid on his side. I sat on the floor beside him. His breathing slowed, he laid his head on my leg... then he stopped breathing again. I'm so thankful I was at this facility when he crossed the rainbow bridge. I couldn't have asked to be around more compassionate, caring people. They were tearing up and they had just met him for the first time. I loved him with all of my heart and they were definitely keen to that and helped me calm down enough to go in and say my goodbyes. I will forever be grateful.

Dr. Shell went that extra mile everyone expects for their babies. Very helpful staff, clean office.
Great exotics visit with two large Boas yesterday. 
Dr Shell is great with all animals, not just the furry ones🐍🦎🐊🐢🐸😍

Lepord Gecko visit with Dr Jeff Shell was great. Dr Shell is one of the best "Reptile/Exotic"  vets that I have had the pleasure to work with.

I always enjoy my visit to Butler Creek Animal Hospital. Myself and my animals are greeted with love and care from the front office staff to the professional staff.  I highly recommend them. My three Corgis LOVE coming to see the staff at Butler Creek because they always feel safe and at home here.
